This is the second of this ring that I’ve purchased, having originally purchased a peridot which I’m very happy with. This time I ordered the purple amethyst, and while I am happy with it, I just caution that it is a far darker stone, then it appears up above. I’m going to keep it, but I would have been happier, knowing that it was not the light purple that I was anticipating.

The ring itself is substantial and pretty, except for the “clear” stone. It shines like a million dollar stone, but to me it looks cheap for that reason. Personal preference I am sure, so I am going to reorder a colored stone instead. I want a large ring, not a loud one basically.

I’ve purchased from this brand before as their DY dupes are SO good. I have several real pieces of DY jewelry, and the items look almost identical and even feel comparable in weight. This ring was the first piece that didn’t really match as a dupe due to the lighter color silver and weight. The gem didn’t look real either. Returned this piece.
