Can’t really fault this!
I cannot recommend this DVD/2XCD digi-pack enough. If you are a fan of the Pop/Bowie collab albums from 1977, even if you haven’t warmed to, for some reason, the excellent Post Pop Depression album, I would say what are you waiting for?I’ve just watched the DVD and was blown away by the faithful renditions of all the songs performed especially from The Idiot and Lust for life era. They are so like the album versions that, that they might be arguably better than the original live 1977 band.Iggy even manages to pull out another faithful rendition of the brilliant but overlooked Repo Man track which I don’t recall him playing live before this tour. I look at the track listing and thought I’ll bet that’s been re-arranged but, thankfully I was totally wrong :)I’m also impressed by Iggy still stage diving at almost 70 years of age.Awesome set and performance. I do recommend this combo set over the stand alone DVD or even the Blu-ray version. The packaging is in a digi-pack not a DVD case as currently displayed on Amazon, and if I am honest it is made of rather flimsy card which is a bit disappointing. Aside from that it ticks all the boxes.

All aboard for Funtime !
Depression is easily the most consistently good work iggy has produced since his late 70's work with David. The set list and performances on these discs are culled exclusively from the idiot, lust for life and depression albums so they are top drawer and really cannot be faulted. The band play well and look great in their matching Vegas style dinner jackets. However, for all his slinky Elvis stage moves Josh bears a disconcerting resemblance to Donald Trump and, as much I love him, I do wish James would keep his shirt on these days!Minor issues aside this is a scorching set of discs that are well worth a purchase.

A class act
A selection of songs from 3 of Iggy's best albums, The Idiot, Lust for Life(Bowie Produced) and his recent album Post Pop Depression performed together with Queens of the Stone Age guitarist Josh Homme and band mates Dean Fertita, Troy Van Leeuwen, and artic monkeys drummer Matt Helders at The Royal Albert hall. Pop is vibrant and full of energy, spent a lot of the gig off stage crowd surfing, but delivered a fantastic performance, what a stunning set list, sorry I missed the gig, but this dvd and cd combo capture it well.
