I put this inside of my Hobonichi Techo cover. It's wonderful to write on; it's smooth and ink flows fantastically on its surface. I don't think you can convince be to buy a different notebook for that cover. It really can't be beaten.

This notebook is perfect - for me anyway. I sketch using a black fineliner, such as a micron or a copic, and this paper feels silky smooth, dries quickly, and doesn’t bleed through. Compared to the Midori MD, this paper is purer white, and also more opaque, which lets me use both sides of the page. I also often use watercolor paints on this paper, and even though it’s thin, it is sturdy enough to take some water and not warp or disintegrate.The pad is also bound in a way that lets it lay flat - another very practical advantage over most other notebooks.

This is a beautiful notebook. It has thin and super-smooth pages. It seems like it would be perfect for fountain pens. When the notebook is open it lays perfectly flat.
