Do these beep constantly once the voltage setting is reached or will they stop beeping when the cells recover?

The other answers are inaccurate in my experience. This buzzer does NOT stop beeping once the cells recover, and it is *incredibly* frustrating and annoying. I have only tested 2 of them, but 2 of my 5 were set to 3.7v, dropped below that voltage on a punchout, and continued to beep all the way to the ground. When I checked, the beeper was still beeping, despite the batteries being 4.0v per cell on all 3 cells.

Is the alarm loud enough to hear if plugged into you're RC airplanes 👂👂

Not if you are using a1S (3.7V) battery. 3S or more (11.1 or more) it is pretty loud. Although It does measure the 3.7Volts. If you look on YouTube (rcsaylors) he explains how it works.

Is there an answer to 1S not working? Is there a fix?

Just tested mine with a 1s - works fine. I did have to make an adapter to make it work as my battery is off brand for my plane. Was easy to do and quick... Not sure why the OP is saying it won't work...
