Smell? they are made out of rubber, but don't smell much, you have to approach your nose really close to them to feel it.

What's the minimum width? Can I press to .1mm?

There is no minimum limit on the laminating width of this machine. Maximum Laminating Width:25.5" (650mm); Maximum Laminating Thickness:0.4" (10mm). If 0.1mm refers to the thickness of the film, it can press. Thank you

can this be used for UV prints from a UV printer?

No, it can't. But the printed paper can be coated with film using this machine. Thank you
