Exceeded my expectations
I purposely waited before writing this review because I wanted to give this robot vacuum enough time and really test it in everyday use. To be honest, I was pretty skeptical at first. I’ve owned several robot vacuums over the years, and they all had their quirks. But this Ecovacs completely changed my mind and exceeded my expectations. One of my favorite things is its obstacle avoidance. My previous robot vacuums constantly got tangled in charging cables or tried to eat socks or other items left on the floor. This one actually recognizes objects and simply drives around them instead of getting stuck. It saves me so much frustration. It also does a great job vacuuming, the mopping works really well for everyday cleaning, and the app is simple and intuitive. Once it’s set up, it just works. After using it for a while, I can honestly say I’m very happy with this purchase. It has made keeping my floors clean much easier, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Never vacuum again!
Ecovacs X11 Omni Review I love this robot vacuum (I named him the King of Cleans) so much that I don’t even know where to start other than saying it’s worth every penny. I truly have zero complaints and nothing but good things to say about it. It’s expensive, but you truly get what you pay for. My old robot vacuum has gotten stuck in various places in my house, had a small water tank that needed filling daily, etc. This robot vacuum does everything a robot vacuum should do and does it SO well. Setup is easy and guided with very simple instructions printed, then the app guides you through the rest. VACUUM The vacuum is absolutely amazing. I have three dogs that shed. They have a doggy door so they track in dirt (and mud when it’s raining). I regularly find myself saying I can’t believe the floor is so clean. This thing an amazing job vacuuming and not missing a spot. It’s surprisingly quiet even on strong suction, and not loud on turbo. The dog hair barely gets stuck in the brush and hasn’t clogged up the bin at all. It does a good job of auto emptying before that ever becomes a problem. MOP The mopping is also wonderful. To be honest I haven’t thought twice about it other than thinking the floors always look clean. Having a robot with a roller mop instead of mop pads seems to be the biggest difference. There are no streaks and it never misses a spot. It has the option to automatically add cleaning solution to the water, or heavy duty cleaning solution depending on how dirty the floor is. It will also automatically identify extra dirty spots and go back and really scrub it clean. I never have to have it go spot clean or scrub a spot by hand. I’m genuinely impressed by how well it identifies muddy spots. THE DOCK (AKA The Pit Crew) I am blown away by the improvements in technology. This thing empties dirty water, addds clean water, washes the mop, and empties the vacuum. The water tanks are big enough that it can mop the floors daily and only need to fill up the water maybe twice a week for 1100 square feet of actual floor space (which excludes furniture, appliances). If you only mop 1x a week the tank will last a several weeks. The vacuum empties into a bagless container which is sooo nice not having to buy extra bags. BATTERY LIFE This thing cleans my entire house on a single charge. It never has to go back and recharge halfway through like my old vacuum. Absolutely amazing battery life. APP I could write a whole review about the features in the app. Even if you aren’t a techy person, I promise it is absolutely worth spending some time going through all of the settings in the app and setting everything up to work for you. There are all kinds of settings like how often to empty, how to handle thin rugs, how long to clean the mop, settings to better avoid pets, stain detection, the order it cleans rooms, scheduling cleaning, etc. You can also connect it to Alexa with a skill so you can tell the vacuum to vacuum and mop an area, room, or everything. SUMMARY If you hate vacuuming and mopping, this thing is for you. I never have to follow it or spot clean manually. I can’t say enough good things about it and it’s worth the price.

T80 and X11 reviewed, AINT READY FOR SHOWTIME
This is actually a eview of two "similar" items, the Deebots T80 and the Deebots X11. Amazon will not let me write two seperate reviews on the Similar Items basis, even though they are two completely different cleaning systems. The T80 uses a spinning disk mop, the X11 uses a next generation (per Ecovacs) roller type mop. First review is the Evacs Deebot T80 - upon unboxing and set up, I found it not as described, being over three inches taller than stated in the description. The height of the charging base is 3.5" taller than the 15.94" shown under Product Measurementrs section. These are big units, I intended to place it under an existing shelf - - size matters and it didn't fit. I reboxed and returned it unused. I would not have ordered it if the description was right. Second review - the X11 Omni-Cyclone. After unboxing, verifying size andcontinuing with set up, I downloaded the app and actually read the Terms Of Service. To my surprise: TERMS OF SERVICE Section 2.5 - Ecovacs may/will charge a fee to recover a lost/forgotten password; Section 2.7 - Ecovacs may/will charge a fee to freeze/unfreeze service in the event of a breech; Section 3.1 - the user CAN opt out of personal data collection but; Section 3.2 - Ecovacs is entitled to use "not categorized as personal data" collected as "intellectual property"; Section 4.1 - Ecovacs MAY START CHARGING A FEE FOR SERVICES THAT ARE NOW FREE, and if you refuse to pay the fee, you may not be able to use certain "complementary services" In short, though you will own the device, you will not, eventually, own the ability to use it - "own nothing and be happy" - sound familiar? I fought the urge to rebox and return at that moment, but it was a major check in the "Pure Garbage" column. On to the performance review: GETS LOST REPEATEDLY - first part of the use process is the vacuum scouts and records a map of your living space, keeping track of furniture, flooring surfaces, doors etc., and divides those spaces into rooms etc. Good wifi is needed throughout, which accorning to the signal monitor on the app, I had. During the next two weeks while supposedly building nuance and getting smarter, on many occasions, the vacuum thought is was in different locations on the map far from where it actually was, meaning - if the vac was trying to get back to the base to empty or recharge, it could not - imagine holding a map tilted at 90 degrees and thinking you are actually at the top of themap, but you're not. And there's no way to recalibrate - you can only carry the vac back to the base and start over. More than once, the vac even got lost inches from and in front of the dock. Ridiculous. CAN'T SEE IN THE DARK - The vacuum uses AI, Infared and Recorded Video mapping to get around. You can actually look around your living space using the onboard camera, which is both neat and very creepy if hacked, which is very possible. Though I didn't verify, I almost guarantee that the cameras feed into the whole Flock/Ring camera surveillance network withor without your permission. But I digress - the vacuum repeatedly got lost at the dark end of a hall, and refused to function without adequate light when I tried to have the thing vacuum after lights out. CUSTOMER SERVICE: I tried three times to contact customer service via the Chat feature in the app, but each time, had to enter lots of information (name, location, email, phone, model, serial number etc) but was hit with Discount Spin/Join popups and could not progress to customer service, even after updating the app and re-entering my information. ACTUAL PERFORMANCE During the two weeks the vacuum was in my possession, I made a minimum of six four plus hour attempts to get the thing to work as promised without me having to physically return the device to the docking station and start cleaning over. ONE TIME it actually came close to working. Most times, it drove around in random patterns, stopping and going weird circles or lines across rooms. The time it did clean my tile floors, it did a very good job, and the two or three times the vacuum of carpeted areas worked, it only worked well with boosted (high power), double pass cleaning turned on. It's a good looking, seemingly well made product. I did't have it long enough to comment on durability, but the robo-vac is quite heavy (seems substantial) andthe base seems well made. Nothing about it felt cheap. Long story short, I liked how it cleans but think it's too advanced for it's own good - this thing aint ready for showtime.

Easy set up and map
I am super happy with my new ecovac! This is my first time buying a robot vacuum, and I was a little nervous about the setup and it being overly complex. Let me tell you, it was SO EASY! Set up: once you open up the box, just plug in the docking station and switch it on near the cord. Then lift the top cover of the Deebot and scan the QR code underneath. Download the app and press start on the app. Then it literally tells you what to do step by step with pictures (switch the on switch, return to docking station, etc.). The Deebot talks to you as well. You can see in my video. There is a full paper manual if you prefer, but literally just starting the app was so easy. To help it find the docking station for the first time, you have to push it into the docking space (put the back side in. Opposite of the camera). Navigation: Let it roam around and map your house. (The app prompts you to do this). Just close any doors or block off spaces you don't want it to go. After that, it will remember where to go. The wheels on the bottom and lift kit help it navigate easily. It lifts pretty high and can go over raised carpet edges etc. So easily and seemlessly. Power and suction: You can set the power and suction level on the app and change it easily. On the normal setting it picked up large debris and fine dust. The sweeper on the side and the roller sweeper on the bottom quite literally got everything with out missing. The device stays connected to your Wi-Fi all the time. Even though the app is on your phone, you do not have to be in range to start it. You can literally tell it to start while you are not home. Or you can schedule regular times. The app: I posted a screenshot of the app. When you start a cleaning, you can click to tell it to sweep, mop, or both. Set the suction level and speed. You can also go to advanced settings and tell it to do different things in each room if you want. For example, I want it to mop the kitchen but not anywhere else. It automatically detects carpet, so you don't have to tell it not to mop the carpet. It's so logical! You can also save your settings and name them in "favorites". For example, you could save one set of instructions and name it "daily clean" and another setting you could call "company is coming over" Oh, and did I mention, you can also talk to it! So if you have your settings saved you can say "start cleaning for company coming over." And you can also name your robot. It's so cute! Docking station: Ok so the docking station is big. I'm going to keep it under a little side table. It does have a cord wrapping space in the back so it can sit up right flush with the wall. My video just doesn't show this. The size is understandable though because it empties into the dust compartment, and it has a separate clean water tank, detergent dispenser, and dirty water tank. All compartments are very easy to remove, empty, and place back in. And I appreciate that the compartments are large enough that I don't have to change them every day. Maybe if you have pets you would change them once a week, but it holds a lot. The dust compartment is as big as my regular vacuum. In fact, I am getting rid of my regular vacuum!

MUCH better than I thought with a few minor issues.
Tried to do research on vacuum/mop robots but they're mostly tied in categories. So I picked my criteria of good mapping, good obstacle management, and good mopping. That narrowed it down to just two for me and I just picked the T8. I chose not to get the T8 AIVI with the camera as I don't care to have a photographic map of my house available. It's bad enough there's a digital map but if you want mapping vs random, you have to allow it. So this little machine completely exceeded my expectations. First with the mapping. It mapped our whole 3000 foot house very precisely (less one room we blocked off) and managed to shockingly vacuum the entire house on one charge the first time. Our house is all hardwood tile with rugs. It crawls right onto the rugs, turns up the vacuum, and then back down to the hard floor and turns down the vacuum. The second time it ran out of juice before it was finished and I had to carry it back. Since then there was a firmware upgrade and it usually finishes the whole house and gets back to it's charging station on one charge. Once it wasn't quite done and it announced it was heading back to charge. Impressive. Mopping was trial and error. It remapped the house for mopping, carefully avoiding any rugs. The problem is some of the rugs don't leave enough hard floor for the robot to get through so it avoids those areas. I flipped up the corners of the rugs to give it room to pass and it works fine . Remember, it's not really "mopping", it's dragging a wet pad along the floor. The pad coverage was OK, but I decided to run up the water to max and it's much better. Pad wet trail behind the T8 is still about 75% the width of the pad. I keep an eye on it, and when the water tank gets low, I pause the robot, refill the tank, clean the pad, and let it keep going. This vastly improved performance. I haven't used the app to tell it to re-do specific areas yet, but I will experiment with that in the future. I may consider purchasing the shaker mop, but for the time being, I vacuum one day, mop the next, then one day off, so the floors are actually staying pretty clean. The T8 works its away around all our chair legs very nicely, and it only got stuck once, behind a curtain. I'm not sure why it didn't avoid the curtain, but this is very good performance in my opinion. We have a small dog and I read that if your dog has an pooping accident, robots won't stop and go around, instead smearing the accident as it goes. So we ran a test with a small Baby Ruth bar (hat's off to Caddyshack) and the T8 ran into it and kept going. Bad news if your "accident" is real. Perhaps the AIVI version with the camera and AI would recognize it and go around, but I just don't want a camera. All in all I'm pretty impressed. I vacuumed the house before we let it run loose the first time and the bin still filled completely up (the T8 runs under our beds!). When we ran it the second day it filled up again so I assume it got so full the first day it couldn't take any more debris. Now I pause and check it after an hour. It vacuums as it mops too and it's still picking up residual dust and hair. I won't be getting the tower that cleans the bin. I think it's too tall and I'm placing the T8 under a shelving unit to keep it out of the way when it's not in use. If I feel the mopping isn't working well with the high water setting and moping every third day, I'll consider the shaker. But I gotta say, I'm amazed at how well this worked out.

Excellent robot cleaner for dog hair management
I have never owned a vacuum robot before. Man, what I was missing! With 2 large golden retrievers, I have enjoyed having my carpets (and tiles/hardwood floors) mopped and vacuumed. For starters, the mapping technology is excellent. I did have to make some virtual barriers (in the app) to ensure it didn't go near my stairs, but after the initial mapping, it continually gets better. The app is very robust and allows me to see real time progress, the excellent reminders about the required maintenance steps and needs, and the programmable aspects to set. I have this unit set to clean after midnight away from our bedrooms and what a difference it has made. Reminders about emptying dust bin and the proof of what I see it has captured on a daily basis. I typically use the app for manually cleaning rooms with the mopping feature as I don't use the X11 to mop daily. The mopping is thorough and does a good job. I did purchase the Extra Strength cleaning solution along with the regular cleaning solution. The app allows you to use "Agent Mode" which is the intuitive cleaning mode where the X11 will decide what solution is needed. I do wish you could set the "heavy duty" cleaning in manual mode (like the kitchen) when I deem necessary. But I will often just let it clean in the Agent mode and let it do its thing. The robots ability to mop tile while stopping and just vacuuming bathmats is excellent. Does't miss a step transitioning to the mat and surprisingly doesn't get stuck on the bathmat like our traditional vacuum cleaner. All in all, this unit is perfect. It does require a fair amount of cleaning and maintenance. Filling/emptying water bins, dust bin clean out, robot maintenance, etc. BUT.....a small price to pay for the hours of time savings this gives you and the end result of having a clean home despite kids and dogs everywhere. I will be looking to purchase a 2nd unit for the upstairs. Oh - one cool feature, you can map a 2nd floor or area without the need to have the whole base station removed. I have 2 kid bedrooms that have a few steps down and the X11 doesn't go there. However, I mapped these rooms as a 2nd area and then I just place the unit in this area and it goes to work. It comes back to the area that I started and I then just move the X11 back to the base station. Pretty cool. When they figure out how robots can navigate stairs, that will be impressive. A lot of detail and focus on these latest generation vacuums. They seem to continue to get better and better. I hope these units last a while to justify the price, but as for quality and performance, I am very satisfied with the X11 Omnicyclone and this ECOVAC's product.

wonderful help to the home
The ECOVACS DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone has completely redefined what I expect from a robot vacuum. From the moment I unboxed it, it was clear that this isn’t just a vacuum—it’s a full-fledged cleaning companion for large homes. The first thing that stands out is the PowerBoost GaN fast charging, which ensures the X11 is back in action almost immediately, even when tackling multiple rooms or max suction cleaning. For a house like mine, this is a total game-changer—no more waiting hours for a recharge. The OZMO Roller 2.0 with TruEdge 3.0 is an absolute marvel. It hugs walls and corners like it’s trained for it, scrubbing away dirt and pet paw prints that I didn’t even realize were there. Speaking of pets, the ZeroTangle 3.0 brushes are a lifesaver—my dogs shed constantly, and I no longer have to wrestle with hair-wrapped brushes. The suction power is phenomenal, pulling up everything from fine dust to heavier debris, while the airflow optimization makes it surprisingly quiet for such a powerful machine. The TruePass 4-Wheel Climbing system means this robot navigates thresholds, door tracks, and even small steps effortlessly. I was skeptical at first, but it truly moves seamlessly from carpet to hardwood to tile without missing a beat or requiring manual intervention. The Smart Wet & Dry Clean is equally impressive; the X11 automatically lifts its mop when on carpets, preventing soggy mishaps while still tackling sticky spills and dust in one pass. The crown jewel has to be the bagless OMNI Station. Self-washing roller mop, dual-solution deep cleaning, auto-refill, and drying—maintenance feels almost magical. It’s eco-friendly too, cutting down on disposable bags and reducing effort to nearly zero. Finally, the YIKO Agent truly makes it smarter every day. It learns my habits, knows which rooms need extra attention, and even adapts to my cleaning schedule. It’s hands-free cleaning at its finest—I honestly feel like I’ve been handed a personal cleaning assistant who never complains, never misses a spot, and never needs a coffee break. In short, the DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone isn’t just a vacuum; it’s a revolution in home cleaning. For anyone with a large home, pets, or a desire to reclaim their weekends from mundane chores, this robot is worth every penny. It’s powerful, precise, intuitive, and surprisingly elegant—a rare combination of high-tech engineering and practical everyday convenience.

Zero Regrets!!!!!
Absolutely zero regrets! Probably the best investment I made in my adult life. I have over 2000 square feet of tile in my home and this saves me so much time! I can set a schedule for when and what time and what room(s), I can clean on the spot any spills or messes, set a specific zone, and all the different features as far as suction power on the vacuum and water levels when mopping. The app lets you keep track of all the accessories and what condition they’re in and how many hours it’s ran for and how many hours are left until you need to replace the accessory. It notifies you when dirty water needs to be emptied, clean water needs to be refilled, and much more! My floors are probably cleaner than they ever would be if I hadn’t made this purchase because the lack of time I had to properly clean them as much as I wish I could. I can have them cleaned now when I’m not even home! I’m a mom of 2 kids and 2 dogs who shed a lot. Zero problems here and one happy customer!

Check the power lead
Our 2nd Deebot Ozmo. The first lasted 5 years in a busy household. Used most days to keep the flooring clean, so it was an easy decision to get a new model from the same brand. However, this version came as an import and it seems that means it didn't come with a UK compliant plug / power lead. Luckily we had the original from the older machine, otherwise it would have meant a return. Worth checking the retailer is going to supply correct power lead if choosing to order one.

Excellent robot aspirateur!
