An excellent sleep bud.
These are very good sleep buds. They take a little getting used to, the app is a little odd, but once you get used to it, it's easy to use. Take heed of their play time, Bluetooth paired you'll get 6-8 hours, "sleep mode" (unpairs and uses their in built in and customisable sounds) gets 8-10 hours. No noise cancelling so snorers still break through. These almost rely on being earplugs like. For side sleepers these can get a little bit uncomfortable if you have a hard pillow. But generally these are comfortable and tuck into your ear quite nicely. I've had to have these warrantied twice, 1 for poor battery life, Anker replaced after a few emails, second one the left bud battery swelled up and broke the case. Anker has replaced them both times with an exchange unit. I cannot fault Anker with this at all. I will get my use and currently justifying spending the same amount on their new A30 buds.

They fixed most of my nights, as a insomniac light sleeper who listens to music!
I have chronic pain, fatigue and insomnia. I cannot bear lying for hours in pain in silence with my mind racing. I'm used to using apple wired headphones to sleep as they fit best in my ear and give great sound fidelity to me. They're also under £20, and thank god, because they nor airpods are built to last. Someone on Twitter, a friend of mine actually, recommended these when I asked about people who slept with music/earphones. Wired ones always get tangled, and even if you did risk airpods, their battery life is awful and earwax would break them beyond warranty. I'm so glad I gave them a chance. Finally I can fall asleep and turn over as much as I need without needing to solve a wire puzzle. The headphones last JUST long enough if you somehow get a full 8 hours, with some room left over. They charge quickly, as I found out at 1am in a panic. Normally I hate gel earbuds and they never fit? These ones? Perfect out the box. Come with natural noise cancellation which is great for sleep. I don't bother with the app. The product is still worth it just for night music listeners like me. The sound quality is a couple of notches below apple airpods/wired headphones imo, but better than most wireless headphones I've used. I didn't even get these on sale, but it was worth it at full price.

Broken headphone, poor customer support
Sound quality and fit are good - but I've only used them over one night and for a few hours in the daytime. One headphone has stopped working - have tried all the re-pairing and reset option but no joy. Support seems to be non existent. Tried using the Amazon service to request a call from Anker, but this is just a recorded message saying the number is no longer in use - rubbish.

These earbuds work well 98% of the time...however....
...the left earbud which is set up for use to reduce sound, and also to go from Sleep mode to Bluetooth mode. It has the issue that it is either ignoring the taps I am supposed to give to change the setting or it changes from Bluetooth, to sleep mode without my permission and input, which is frustrating. I think it does this as a precaution for people who fall asleep. That is literally the only glitch they have, other than that, they are fantastic earbuds! The sleep audio selection is very good, and if I want to listen to a podcast, or YouTube video etc, I set it to Bluetooth mode and I can listen to any audio I like. it works extremely well. The battery has a long life. So far, I have fallen asleep before the battery has died. They are super comfortable to wear. I sleep on my side and they don't bother me in the least bit. All in all I am very happy with them.

Very surprising
I am a heavy side sleeper & have tried the usual headbands & in ear headphones (Beats Flex) ect then I came across these. WOW AMAZING can finally have a full nights sleep without ear pain these ear phones are so comfortable to wear all night. The sound quality is good & noise cancellation an option with ear buds & I can’t hear the tv in same room if listening to a podcast, if you can then try going down a size on ear piece. The soundcore app is also easy to use & if you loose 1 in the bed there is a find my headphone in app which produces a loud beep ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT Easy to connect via Bluetooth & ease of charging via the case & in the soundcore app you can see % of headphones & case. Yes expensive but if I add up how much I have spent on previous sleep earphones I Wish I Had Found These First !! I have already recommended these to friends

😴 Better than AirPods for sleep
Definitely better than AirPods for sleep, they paired fast and easily with my iPhone. Setup was easy enough. You don’t need their app at all and it seems poorly made and hard to use. It (for example) keeps telling me to update the firmware on the headphones but then won’t do it. The fit of the headphones is good and they come with 7 different nib sizes to try out. They’re definitely more comfortable than AirPods to sleep in but still are a little uncomfortable and hard on the ears. I haven’t tried any other “sleep” headphones so can’t compare but they’re comfortable enough. Battery life seems very good too. I’d say they’re quite pricey for what they are, the build quality is closed to a £70 product than over £100 if you can get them on sale then definitely do.

not for everyone, read manual before buying, know how it works
Bluetooth connectivity instability, one bud sometimes shuts off. Night transition to white noise is not pleasant surprise, it can be loud and may wake you up. Small, securely fitted into ear, acceptable sound quality, good battery life.

Not good for sleep
Fits comfortably in the ears, but randomly plays rain sounds etc during sleep. Companion app is buggy and hard to navigate to switch that off. After five nights of changing settings and experimenting I’m giving up. Bought to help sleep, and results in waking up more times. The earbud itself is great, but the software makes it unusable.

If you’re looking for a pair of sleep earbuds that truly deliver on comfort and battery life, the Soundcore Sleep A20 Earbuds by Anker are a standout choice. I’ve worn them all night, even as a side sleeper, and they’re so comfortable I often forget they’re in my ears. The battery life is impressive-easily lasting through the night (and then some), so you don’t have to worry about them dying before your alarm goes off. One of my favorite features is the configurable EQ in the Soundcore app, which lets you tweak the sound signature to your liking. There’s a preset that softens loud noises and balances the sound, which is perfect for narrated audio or podcasts I like to fall asleep to. The built-in library of white noise and nature sounds is another plus, and you can even save a selection directly to the earbuds, so you don’t need your phone nearby or worry about notifications waking you up. On the downside, I found the touch controls a bit too sensitive-they’d sometimes trigger accidentally as I moved in my sleep. Thankfully, you can disable them, which I did since I keep my phone close for any media or volume adjustments anyway. If there’s one thing I’d love to see in a future version, it’s active noise cancellation. I know that’s a tall order in such a tiny and comfortable form factor, but it would be a game changer for blocking out even more ambient noise. Overall, the Soundcore Sleep A20 Earbuds are a fantastic investment if you value a good night’s sleep and want a customizable, comfortable, and reliable solution for bedtime audio. On site note: If you're having trouble making an account in the app, it might be because you had a Eufy account at some point. Apparently Anker and Eufy share the same authentication system, so if you have one, you have both. That was my only pain point in setting up the device, and caused me to scratch my head for a few.
