Bertucci A-1r Field Comfort

My favorite watch. So light you forget your wearing it. In the Florida heat and humidity the band is washable. Keeps perfect time. I get lots of compliments. And so cool looking. Great price too

Comfortable, light, easy to read. I collect metrics on my watches and this one is my most accurate, gaining 1-second a week. That’s 10X more accurate than my Casio LCD watch, which really surprised me. This is my preferred watch, the one I want to grab first in the morning. For those who are concerned that this watch is too small at 36mm, be advised that this watch is the CORRECT size for replicating the original field watches. In fact, it's actually a little large -- many field watches from WW2 and up through the 60's were in the 32mm to 36mm range in diameter.

This watch can take a beating. I’m a heavy truck/fire truck mechanic. I wear this watch everyday, I’ve been air hammering and swinging sledge hammers past few days. It just keeps ticking. It’s been covered in grease. Doused in water and vibrated to all hell and it just keeps going. It’s a cheap watch in the world of field watches. It’s not perfect but it’s fairly comfortable after the strap broke in/washed. Only negative I have on it. I don’t like the fabric loop that secures the access strap. Other then that it’s a solid performer. Thank you.

I honestly really liked this watch for about 30 days. It looks good and it does what it's supposed to. It's light, seemingly sturdy, and the canvas band was great for my sensitive wrist—I find that most watches trap moisture under the band and give my wrist a rash, but this one did not. So—5/5 stars... ...except on day 32, it suddenly decided to jump an hour ahead. I reset it at 10:50 to the correct time and by 11:38 it was off again. I hope I just got a bad one. If I can get a replacement I'll amend my review, as I'm not trying to trash this watch, I'm just saying that the one I got doesn't work.

I had been eyeing this for $60, and then was able to pick up for $30. As everyone else has said, it's lightweight yet solid. The packaging was nice. The band is sturdy and easy to swap out. It's only been a few days, but I like it.

Purchased this watch in November, and wore it occasionally for work. I never swam with it on. I showered once with it on and water got under the glass. Within a week of that, the watch stopped working. The watch only lasted 9 months. Its not water proof. The back seems to be loose as well. Poor construction, poor quality, and false advertising. The fit is fine.

I’ve had a number of Bertucci watches over the years. They’re always ready to be used and abused. This A-1R is no exception. It is 36mm in diameter but does not feel like a minuscule watch. It wears more like 38-39mm. This one hits every marker perfectly (which is rare for an affordable quartz watch). You will not be disappointed in the fit and finish or reliability of Bertucci watches!

Per ora tutto ok. Leggero, ma robusto. Lo uso a caccia e per i lavori gravosi. Perfetto. L'unica pecca è che mi Han fatto pagare le tasse doganali o qualcosa del genere...17 euro in più
