I’ve been using the DeWalt 20V MAX XR 2 and it’s honestly one of those tools that just feels like it’s built to work hard without any drama. What stands out right away is the power. It doesn’t hesitate when you put it to work, whether it’s drilling, driving, or handling tougher materials. It feels consistent and strong, not like it’s struggling or fading halfway through a job. The XR battery system is a big plus too. It holds charge well and gives you that confidence to keep moving without constantly swapping batteries. The balance of the tool also feels solid in your hand, not too heavy, not awkward, just controlled and comfortable for longer use. What I appreciate most is the reliability. It starts every time, runs smooth, and doesn’t overcomplicate anything. It’s the kind of tool you grab when you don’t want to think twice, you just want it done right. Overall, it’s a dependable, professional-grade tool that feels like it can handle jobsite work or home projects without missing a beat.

Absolute beast of a drill. By far the most powerful drill I've ever used and love that it has the new anti-spin technology. This prevents me from having my wrist snapped when using larger holes saws and other bits that require a lot of torque. It's also very hand to be able to position the little LED light on the drill and have it run for 20 minutes. It is a heavy drill, so be prepared for that, but overall it is still relatively compact compared to some of my older Dewalt drills. The bar also has a new system which is very secure when cranked down. It doesn't allow for infinite adjustment like the old one did, but this new one is much more secure feeling. So I don't mind the trade off.

Finally a good drill, the last bunch I ordered had all to be returned due to excessive chuck wobble. This one seems to okay. Came in a box that looked reused but the drill looks new. Plenty power and solid heavy drill. Will see how it holds up.

I have a good DeWalt drill, DeWalt driver, Craftsman drill, Makita drill and Makita driver and they all work fine, for a DRILL. But this DeWalt Max XR is a GREAT drill! Of course it is heavier, but it will do HEAVY work. The variable speed trigger and three speed choices gives good versatility for the many and various jobs, from merely drilling holes to screwing lag bolts in posts and jacking up my car with the scissor jack -- there's a reason it comes with a side handle, especially handy jacking up my car -- this drill has torque! The lighter drills are fine for most jobs, but every professional should own one of these! Oh yes, it works GREAT at hammering when it comes to drilling concrete too!
