BEautiful rich color and great carving. Be aware it attaches to wall, not bed. A little tricky to hang so it lines up, so you need a level, etc. We used different hardware than what comes with it. Also, it is very large, so you need to decide if you are going to hide half of it behind the bed like a "usual" headboard, or show it all off as I did. see pix

Beautiful carved headboard: tricky assembly.
Headboard arrived in good condition, recently painted. It took us about 2 1/2 hours to affix the two backing brackets, create a hanging wire, and hang securely. I can’t imagine using a traditional headboard mounting block to good effect (would wobble and separate). Gorgeous result, and well with the work —but you will need to be handy. The paint is stinky but will dissipate: white vinegar and good ventilation will help.

This beautiful headboard is the perfect addition to our guest room. It is definitely the centerpiece, elevating the room to more than just a guest room and creating a peaceful and serene feeling as soon as you walk in. Everyone loves it!

Delivered to New York in perfect condition much sooner than estimated. Shipping weight was 49 Lbs. You will need someone with skills to hang it on the wall properly.
