Purchased this 104 sq ft barnwood for our fireplace wall to replace cheap contractor grade tile, and it is absolutely stunning! It looks like something straight out of a catalog and million dollar home. My husband installed it himself with dap caulk and a nail gun to secure each piece. He did have to replace drywall where the old tile was removed, then painted the entire wall matte black in case the wood had holes or creases. It feels so smooth to the touch (no splinters for our kids!) and has such a deep, rich color that really brings out the beauty of each plank. We couldn’t be happier with the results!!! Definitely recommend if you are looking for an affordable way to create an accent wall in your home! He also painted the white crown molding with an acrylic paint kit purchased years ago from Amazon and a wood look silicone roller to match the wood grain in the planks and the color.

Exactly what I was looking for! I had an idea for a focal wall by my fireplace but was struggling finding something reasonably priced and easy to work with. This filled both needs and we love it! Easy to cut, looks great- zero complaints!

Easy to install with a finish nailer, great color and texture variety in the boards, smooth on the back for consistent mounting, and relatively consistent board width for relatively easy matching in each row. Overall, we are SO happy with this product. If I had to find a complaint, it would just be that you can't order the exact amount you want... you have to piece it together based on the options they allow, and then they didn't ship all of the packs at the same time... got one pack and then had to wait a couple more days for the other two. For example, my wall is 8' x 16'... which is 128 square feet. Well, they offered a 104 sq ft pack, and a 23 sq ft pack, and a 10 sq ft pack. Because we didn't remove the baseboard, and we also allowed 1" of space from the bottom of the last row to the baseboard, we ultimately didn't need that last 10 sq ft pack, but I didn't know that we would end up doing that, plus, I needed to make sure I allowed room for broken or bad boards, so I ordered the 137 sq ft and now need to return the last 10 sq ft that we didn't need. Would have been easier to be able to order 130 sq ft or something more specific instead of piecing together existing offerings and then waiting for all three to arrive separately to start the project, but it all worked out in the end and we love the result.

Very easy to use. Light weight and lots of color variation. It does chip fairly easily and any holes are camouflaged with black paper taped to the back of the shipped product.

Love the authenticity of the product. Not only did I use it for the wall, I've also used it as trim around the house to tie everything together.

Looks great, goes up easy with 5/8” Brad’s and a nail gun. Great blend of coloring. Rustic unfinished look exactly as described.

Be advised, this is NOT barn wood, this is pallet wood. That's obvoius enough when you look at the sellers pictures. However, this should be properly stated in the title instead of falsely advertising that it's barn wood. The product fit perfectly for my needs, was well packaged, and had only minor loss/damage with a couple pieces being split from being old and dry. My bathroom accent wall looks great!

I was looking for real wood with a rustic feel to do an accent wall. This product delivered. Each plank is so unique, some smooth, some rough, some weathered, some not so much... So here are some key things to help you understand what you’re getting: 1. The planks are thin and light making them easy to work with. I easily attached them with a brad nailer. 2. The planks are real wood, not manufactured. I had boards that varied a little in width and quite a few that were warped. Presented some challenges trying to reduce gaps. 3. Paint the wall black! It definitely hides gaps and holes. When it was done the imperfections weren’t noticeable or at least fit the rustic feel. 4. A lot of the boards had knot holes and the company placed black tape over them. It was generally fine though I think when there is a hole an inch in diameter it should be discarded not covered with tape. I cut those holes off. 5. Don’t panic when the boards don't line up perfectly. I was too anal in the beginning trying to level the boards and get a consistent gap in the corner of the wall. It wasn’t necessary. Again, this is rustic so imperfect makes it better. IMO 6. The wood is about 1/4” thick. You can cut it with a handsaw (for tricky cuts around outlets), but you cannot cut it with a knife. And you really should have a miter saw and brad nailer to make this faster and smoother. 7. Use brad nails, not construction adhesive. Its easy to remove a board without major damage to the wall. 8. No issues with mold or bugs. Wood was just dusty. 9. Buy direct. Amazon was more expensive. And you can call and say how much you need instead of buying a second smaller box at a higher price like I did.

We installed this barn wood behind the wood burning stove and behind the bar in our new rec room. Easily installed using good quality glue and an air nailer. The color variation is outstanding but still maintains a natural warm feel. The seller even put black fabric pieces on the back where the knots and holes are in the natural wood. We are so pleased with how this looks! Delivery was prompt. Waste was minimal.
