What is the difference between this and the lace gelly?

The Lace Gelly is used for baby hairs and holding the lace down. The Liquid Gold is used similar to the Gelly but has a tighter hold.

Why does this product turn white and flaky?

The Liquid Gold will turn white if you don't do the following: 1) Don't let it dry completely 2) If you comb it when it's completely dry, it will flake up. 3) If you apply too much Gel, please use thin layers.
