I installed these by the toilet. They worked perfectly. Just make sure that you connect them to a stud. A drywall connection without a stud behind it will just tare lose the first time that it is used. If your studs aren't 12 inches apart, then install these handles vertically along the stud rather than horizontally.

I'm very pleased with the sturdiness/ quality of these 32" grab bars. I got one for each of our bathrooms; one has a tub/shower and the other a shower only, and they are the perfect size for each! And with their simplistic design they coordinate well with both decors. I recommend these for anyone who needs grab bars in their bathroom for safety and support.

The bars are nice but the covers that are supposed to cover the screws wont stay on a are loose......

I dislocated my knee a couple of months ago, so I got this to place next to my front steps to prevent falls when I am leaving and coming up my porch.It is a nice grab bar that has filled my need, but it wasn't a five-star experience. I was disappointed because it came without any instructions. We had difficulty figuring out how to assemble it and ended up having to take it apart after our first attempt to do so.There was no reason for instructions to be omitted, especially with all those parts and it not being straightforward. Even though my brother is handy, couldn't figure it out. I had the thought to go back to the item's page and found a video. He remarked, "Good thing you found that video." because I think he realizes he wasn't going to figure it out without it.I genuinely don't think I would have my grab bar right now had it not been for thinking about taking a look at the item's page in the hope there was something there that would help. So I guess the bright side is they'd provided the video even though it was not exactly convenient and I'd have preferred printed instructions regardless.There was also some strange hook-and-loop tape included in the box, but we have no idea what it's for or if we are missing something.Once we managed to assemble it correctly, I noticed that one of the white plastic covers is loose for some reason. While it isn't unsafe, it does startle me when I grab it because it feels insecure for a moment. This means the grip isn’t quite right, and I’m unhappy about that.On the positive side, it works well for my needs since it’s easy to keep hold of from the steps of my porch and is the perfect size. However, I almost wish the cover hadn’t been included if it was going to be loose like this.Overall, it's a good and sturdy grab bar, but I wish the cover wasn't loose and it would have been a much better experience had instructions been included.
