19464 Universal Dual Flush Syphon for Lever Cisterns

I have had so much problems with the new generation of flush syphons that became fed up of regularly fitting replacements. I eventually purchased the first Fluidmaster Pro-ultra Universal Dual Flush Syphon from a local shop a few years ago and was pleasantly surprised. As this is the best flush syphon I have ever known, I bought a second one and fitted it in a second toilet. Delivery was quick and it was securely packaged. Just gently depress once and all the water right to the bottom of the cistern flushes into the pan. No need to flush a second time as with other syphons. There's ample adjustment to fit most cisterns and fitting it is simple. I am not a plumber but found it easy to install. It's excellent value for money. I have now purchased a further 3 to fit in my other house. I highly recommend.

I have no experience at fitting these. But I watched a you tube video bought this and within an hour the toilet was flushing again. Fantastic

RTFM! Who knew there were different types of toilets? Of course, I’ve seen them, but knowing what you have and its internal workings! Thankfully, after a peruse through UTube, I discovered @ultimatehandyman and learnt about my internal workings on a close-coupled toilet system. Whilst you can see into the Cistern on what you need the definition was important, as in this case, I also required a close coupling kit. I even appreciated the tutorial having to deal with rusted wingnuts, as I too was to face them also. This gave me at least the confidence to give it a go and highlighted the importance of going for this model rather than just replacing. Yes, it was more expensive, and I knew the failure point was just the diaphragm. However, this one gives you options as it can be dissembled without taking the whole cistern from the wall and re-coupling. It comes complete with everything you need for inside your cistern. Just make sure you read the instructions, and it’s easy to install. The fact it is adjustable to suit different volumes of flush, half flush, I wasn’t bothered with, but it’s handy to have the options. The most important part to me was that if I needed to replace the diaphragm in the future, you can separate the unit in situ and do a 10-minute job instead of a couple of hours (well, it was my first time, sort of … as because I hadn’t read the instructions, I forgot a rubber seal and had to restart 🙄) Definitely worth the extra money. If I’m being picky, I’d love to purchase all the ‘potential parts’ from the seller. Even if it’s just a prompt … “Do you need,” or “customers usually purchase this in conjunction with.” This is only a suggestion to the seller but can fault the product

Works perfectly ! Very easy to fit and does the job! Now it flushes with just a feather touch compared to before where you had to flush at least 7 times in order to create vaccumm! Very pleased with the purchase.

I'd never done one of these before. Very good quality and was surprised how many things could be adjusted on this to get the water level and flush feel just right. Highly recommend to anyone replacing or installing new toilet guts.

Great to fit and the adjustable element helps with that. The short flush is a pain to use, you have to hold the handle for the flush and a second or two afterwards or it will start into the full flush. The adjustment of the volume for the short flush doesn't seem to work or is to slight to notice. Nice to be able to change to flap in the future but that could be 10 years or more away.

The most difficult thing was getting the old siphon out. Installing this was simple and straightforward. Excellent instructions.
