Vitrea 160 Glass Paint Outliner, 0.67 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Ink Black, 066

This product, whether the outliners or paints, are of excellent quality. The brilliance of the colors are wonderful. I did research the paints that would fit my need, and I was led to Pebeo. The paints and outliners have not disappointed me.

Good product does what it says it will do.

Glass paints can be pricey but these are very accurate for many brands. I like the glossy transparent style and how it has a stained glass window effect. Being able to write with the SharePoint tip is nice for accuracy. Takes a little getting used to when I usually use brushes but was very easy to use.

Okay, So I've been working with these for a couple of weeks now. I've gone through almost all of one tube of gold and one of pearl and ordered another. So here are some observations. I didn't realize that there is a child proof seal thing on top of the tube on the inside of the cap. This thing must be pierced. You must remove the white part of the cap which unscrews. I made the mistake of thinking that I didn't have the hole big enough and kept cutting off the end. The end must be snipped but you just want to snip the very end to keep the lines small and in control. It doesn't surprise me that some people were squeezing hard enough to split the sides. I could see myself doing the same thing. It may have had directions on the tube but I don't see very well. So there's no reading those instructions. I resorted to you tube to see how it was done. I recommend watching a couple of videos. Then practice practice practice. The more you do it the better you'll get. I also recommend wiping the tip after a couple of lines or dots. It dries quickly and will begin to dry on the end of the tube where the paint is coming out causing it to distort the shape you want. I can now write and draw with these just about as well as I can with a pencil. Remember that it is paint and will flatten some. So you leave thinking there's space between drops or lines just to have it sort of merge on you. So keep that in mind with your spacing. The reds, greens and blues don't show up well on a black background where as the gold and pearl do better. And vice versa. I'm using mixtures of regular multi surface paints and these glass paints, which have done well on many other surfaces. I'm painting the heck out of everything. I've done plates and glasses, rocks, journals, etc etc. I tried uploading some photos. but while I do fairly well in the visual arts, I'm not so hot at the technical ones. Bottom line for me is that like anything else, you don't get good at something just by thinking about it, you actually have to do it and do it a lot. Don't expect everything you do to be a masterpiece. If you don't like a line or dot, wipe it off while it's still wet. I actually love these paints and recommend them highly. Just take your time, forgive your mistakes, and practice.

I absolutely love using this to add small details to my glass pieces!

This is my first time using this. 1000/10, so much better than trying to use gallery glass. I was worried as I saw a lot of people bake it after it dries and I couldnt bake what I used it for (card box for wedding) yet it still turned out perfect and not sticky or anything. The tip is great, perfect for line work. Will definitely be using this for my future DIY wedding things :)

Die goldenen Outlines von Pébéo sind einfach wunderschön! Sie verleihen den Motiven einen richtig edlen und hochwertigen Look. Alles in Schwarz wirkt manchmal bei so filigranen Motiven erdrückend, doch bei dem Gold nicht. Die Farbe lässt sich super auftragen und durch die Tube auch gut dosieren. Sie trocknet schön und sorgt für tolle Akzente. Und das Beste: Der Goldton wirkt nicht "billig" oder "künstlich" wie es oft der Fall ist. Absolute Empfehlung!

Pebeo's Gold Outliner flows much better than their black outliner. Beautiful color, works well.
