Good enough
These are pretty cheap but they do seem to serve their purpose and were a pretty good price relative to the others I looked at. I took one star away because on some of my doors I had to almost unscrew the adjusting screw all the way out in order for it to catch my door before it hit the wall when it needed to be stopped at exactly 90 degrees. It also is only able to allow a door to open to about 140 degrees before catching at the maximum setting. These cannot be used to catch a door that needs to open nearly 180 degrees.I took another star away because I wish that there was a way to keep the adjusting screw in place after you put it where you want. Some of mine twisted pretty freely with little resistance, and I have to keep twisting them back in place. I might put some glue on the screw to keep it in place. For some doors that are heavy or people seem to enjoy throwing open, you will probably need to put one one the top hinge and one at the bottom or it will probably make a dent in your door and/or door frame. On some of my doors, I think I can get away with just using one at the top.Overall, these are about what I expected. I will still probably buy more of these if I do need more in the future (unless the price increases)

Good product at fair price
This is an eight pack of hinge pin door guards. They work much better than the old fashioned spring door stops which mount on the shoe molding. If you have a very high traffic door with kids throwing the door open, I would use one on the bottom and one on the top hinge pin... and try to correct the human factor issue.

A little pricey but many virtues
This design is superior to the old baseboard mounted options because (a) you don't have to make a hole in your baseboard, (b) they're barely noticeable, (c) they're adjustable, and (d) they don't get in the way when you're vacuuming.Installation is easy, requiring only a hammer and either a largish nail or small screwdriver to bang out the hinge pin if it's tight. Then you can hand-tighten/loosen the threaded doorstop so it stops the door at the position you want -- enough that the door opens fully but not so much the knob bangs your wall. You may want the traditional baseboard-mounted doorstop if you have rambunctious kids. If someone really throws the door open with force, the foot on this hinge-mounted doorstop, though padded, still might bruise your door casing. My only other gripe is that these seemed a little costly.

Your Basic Door Stop, With Some Issues...
Hinge Door Stoppers are not my preferred method to prevent a door from smashing into another door or a wall, but when other methods are not available these are the best option. Usually, I like to use the door "Twangers" ( National Hardware BB8023SN 3" Spring Door Stop, Pack Of 5 ) as they don't break your toes if you accidentally kick them. The problem with the hinge stop design, is that it typically places too much pressure on the trimming around the door, which can then get dents in it (See photo below). In order to mitigate this problem, I will install multiple door hinge stops on a single door, which distributes the force better than just having a single hinge stopper (See second photo).I like the flat portion of the hinge stop that angles to match the door surface, which again distributes the force on the door side, preventing any dents in the door.

Is It Overkill To Use Three On One Door? Nope
I have very expensive collectibles on my desk and on the shelves behind my desk, and my closet, unfortunately, has not one but TWO doors that open out into both that same desk and those same shelves. So to protect these valuable items I put three of these stoppers, one on each hinge, on each door. So now when the door opens about 40ish percent, it just stops and it can't open anymore. It's great, I love it - just make sure you are buying the color you want, consider the space before you order, these do come in many colors.

Much cheaper And quality just as good as the big box stores
I’ve been using these hinge stoppers on all of my doors for many years but recently found same ones just as strong but for half the price through Amazon

seems to work well, good color match
Decent door-stops, they work as expected. Make sure your hinge pins come out. Good color match with my AmazonBasics hinges (pictured). The square-end goes on the door side, unlike my old ones which were round-end on both sides (which once ended up punching through a hollow-core door, less likely with the bigger end).I'm slowly replacing all the 1990s-style bright-brass door hardware in my house, and the door stoppers are on the list. These match my new hinges, and are inexpensive. Recommended.

Good product
Very nice for the money assuming they hold up and there appears no reason they should not. The finish is nice the functions work well. the only thing I noticed that maybe a little subpar is the handles can be a little sloppy moving side to side. But for the money I'm very happy
