Q: what is the applicator made of?

The applicator is plastic with bumps on them. I tried the product and would not buy again due to the fact that it didn't really clear up any blackheads. I would be more prone to suggest salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide solutions - that is what I use now - both - and this works.
