I have unboxed and to my surprise the inbuilt memory is only 3GB and not 128GB as written in description. One needs to buy a seperate micro SD card in order to augment the memory. This is totally unacceptable and i find the description misleading.

We cannot connect this device to mobile with Bluetooth or USB. And we cannot transfer recorded files to mobile

If you want to get slightly better AI transcriptions, then use the highest .wav setting and the 'Lecture' mode. That said, my numerous experiments with this machine have not yet led me to figure out how the transcriptions might be editted, although I suspect that I will eventually discover they are saved as .txt files that can be editted after download. My overall early impression of the machine is that it produces surprisingly good audio output, and has numerous possible audio uses; including live music demo recordings, poetry and recordings from the natural world. Oh, and good old-fashioned dictation. It is quite a heavy, but compact unit worth a fairly intuitive GUI and adequate usage notes and brief online tips. The weight indicates to me that the speaker and mono/stereo microphones are of reasonable construction quality. Attractive overall design with a colourful touch screen GUI. Also, ordinary operation buttons. I look forward to doing something creative with this unit, but it is a fairly sophisticated gadget; which means that there is quite a lot to learn about it in the longer term. Perhaps not ideal for absolute audio beginners, but there is a simpler recording shortcut, using the REC button if you are in a hurry to capture interesting voices and sounds. The headphone jack is fine, but the output to my Bluetooth amplifier was superb. I have still got a few things to learn about USB data transfer and the SD card. USB charging from solar panels is extremely quick.

I was going to buy a much more expensive unit but so glad I bought this little beauty.It's well made,solid and small,discreet.It took me a couple of hours to get familiar with it,a very good instruction manual . I'm somewhat surprised by it.The sound quality is fine and speech to text remarkable . I'm genuinely surprised at the value and unit itself.So far Great value,I recommend it for value for money,give it a go before you buy one 2 or 3 times the price.

Despite my initial reservations about the red colour (I'm not a fan), the device looks surprisingly stylish and the black is very professional. It's definitely very solid and the build quality means I'm not worried taking it on dog walks and having it in my pocket with other items. Usage: In practice, the recorder has proven itself particularly valuable for me for personal note-taking and work-related thoughts. It's taken a bit of time to get used to doing notes like this, but it's saved me a lot of time. The recording quality shines in quiet environments, though it does pick up some wind noise during outdoor use like dog walks. The touchscreen is sensitive and good quality and I've had no issues with this with my gloves. There are quite a few options I'm not using (like meetings, interviews etc) but maybe one day I'll need them! Effectiveness: The speech-to-text functionality, while not perfect, is remarkably accurate for most uses and given the price of that, from my friends that need this sort of thing for dictation, they say it's surprisingly good. Yes, it occasionally produces some funny misinterpretations, but this is to be expected with current transcription technology. The automatic backup feature, though I haven't used it yet, gives me peace of mind for preserving important recordings and I'll be using this for revision in the near future. Verdict: While it might seem luxurious to have a dedicated voice recorder alongside a smartphone for my needs, I'd say this has been really handy to have. To use for note taking, playback and transcription, it's ideal and I'd highly recommend it.
