Royal & Langnickel Aqualon Wisp Flat Artist Brush Set, 5-piece

Bought this set for a class in painting animals (fur). Perfect. And you do not need an expensive brush to add fur to your painting to a cat, dog or other animal. A+++

I admit I was skeptical about this set of brushes, but they have worked well for my watercolor work with hair, fur, grasses, leaves, even water ripples. They have made part of my painting skills improve, I recommend.

These brushes can appear like a gimmick at first. Rake brushes do similar work depending on how you use them, but these Wisp brushes do a terrific job once you play with them a while. I've spent many years experimenting with brushes, as we painters do!...(after all, isn't that what art is about? :) )...slowly gathering my favorite types from synthetics to bristles. These wisps were no different. They're synthetic and light-weight. I've used them for grasses, creating textures on buildings, or just making interesting lines....and they do a terrific job when layering fur. It's all in the brush strokes like any other brush, but once you get the feel of these, you'll discover several applications that will produce great results. Just give them some time at your easel. (I use acrylics by the way...just if you were curious. Primarily Atelier Interactives and Liquitex Heavy Body. I can't speak to whether they would do well for oils...(maybe thinned down?)...but for acrylics or WCs, they're fine.)

My tutorial artist recommended these specific brushes- and I am so glad I got them. I can replicate what she’s doing now, whereas I had much difficulty with other wisp brushes. Thanks Jesse Robertson!

This set has a great assortment of wisp brushes and offered at what I felt was a fair price.

Works fine. Practice off canvas doing some strokes. The amount of paint on the brush, along with its liquidity will produce control of what the brush can do and satisfying results.

These brushes are great for creating fur on animal paintings, doing a panda now. They would also be great for grass. Really glad I got them.

I ordered this set of brushes for a particular painting and was super impressed. No loss of bristles and strong handle. I’m so happy with this set, highly recommend!

For cheap brushes... these are fab. They make some useful strokes for uniformity. Not so good if you want random (hair).

Ich bin begeistert. Sehr gute Qualität der Pinsel. Zuverlässige Lieferung. Dafür würde ich mich wieder entscheiden und überlege mir, auch die anderen Pinselformen zu bestellen.

je trouve que vos pinceaux sont vraiment de bonne qualité , ce n' est pas des falsifier , je les aime beaucoup mais je ne les trouve plus sur le marcher
