Punches above weight
This does a great job of meeting a variety of needs in the kitchen -- while taking up a minimum of space. I've probably used the blender aspect of it the most, and with the beaker it's incredible for small/quick mixing jobs. It's even a fantastic milk forther if you're feeling indulgent. My only not-so-positive comment is that as a food processor, it's relatively underpowered. It's more than sufficient for most jobs, but there are a few (like pulverizing kale for a sauce) where more power would have been a plus. But overall, it punches way above its weight.

Can’t live without!
Replaced my 8 year old one that gave out. This has more attachments. I use most daily. Seems even better than last one. More power. I put attachments in dishwasher just like old one. Clean up easy

Much improved replacement for two older products
Just received this yesterday to replace a first generation braun immersion blender that didn't work and a Cuisinart mini food processor that also was broken. Happy to say that both attachments work wonderfully and better than the items they were replacing. Don't know why I stuck with the mini food processor all these years as this item is much easier to use and clean. The immersion blender did a fantastic job pureeing a pot of tomato soup without sending a mess all over me or my kitchen. Can't wait to try the 8-cup processor...will update when I do. Word of caution...once you get going it is easy to use; HOWEVER, the instructions are indecipherable...push this, hold that. I thought the product was received broken. I obviously figured it out, but they could make the instructions a bit more clear.

Very powerful even for nut’s paste
Love this one so much!! Constantly making peanut butter, smoothies, cutting veggies and many more! Very powerful, but can overheat if using non stop. But worth the money 100%

Have not heard any complaints and the price was great compared to other places. Was bought for a present.

It Replaces So Many Kitchen Tools
This is fabulous. I bought the 5 cup pitcher as an accessory and was able to give away my food processor since this comes with a 2 cup container and an 8 cup container you can chop or blend in. The 5 cup pitcher for me replaces a 4 cup one that I would use in my food processor. It’s a smaller footprint, easier to clean, and feels heavy. It has a fabulous safety feature so you don’t take off fingers with the immersion blender. I will say for smaller hands it is a little awkward to use but I will accept that given its outstanding features. It feels just slightly less powerful than my original food processor but I honestly don’t need a lot of power too often. Besides, given the convenience of this I will reach for this far more often than my food processor.

Many Functions, All Underachievers
Having downsized, I thought it would be a good idea to get a "combo" set to supplant the individual appliances that I used to enjoy. The lack of documentation is appalling. The lack of an organizer to keep the accessories in a bundle (when space is tight) is inexcusable. Could have offered an option for those who don't mind being extra tidy. Naturally, this is no substitute for the specialty devices that one may have. Of course, it is an unfair comparison. The website is very poor unless all one is interested in is glossy pictures - classic disconnect between Marketing and Sales. Did four smoothies: the results were underwhelming and pale in comparison with my previous appliance. I guess I have to accept a new (but not improved) definition of "smoothie" now. This is not buyer's remorse because, as I stated earlier, I have no choice but to accept the situation. Did baking dough preparation with only 1.5 cups of flour: "a bad carpenter will always blame his tools" may be true but since I am accustomed to a proper food mixer, I must confess that I almost "cried" with the results of this Imode technology. Most important: it is early days for me, but I am worried of the ability of all the plastics to withstand daily use. Why did the product design team shave off a few millimeters of thickness of the container walls? What was the trade-off?

Impressive kitchen tool
My very old food processor conked out a few months ago and while I don’t use it a lot it has been missed. I was investigating a replacement when I came across this Braun unit. I had always wanted an immersion blender, but never got around to purchasing one. The chance to get both at once made me stop procrastinating and I placed an order. When you consider the cost of a food processor, an immersion blender and a small capacity chopper combined, the price tag on this is very reasonable. The versatility makes it a terrific option for a shower/wedding registry or a house warming gift. Even that budding chef that my husband claims he’s going to be!?! To date I have tried the following units/attachments Large food processor - French fry blade is amazing. If you make home made fries you will love it. It powers through a potato in seconds and makes a great size fry somewhere between a shoestring and a regular straight cut size and approx. 2” long. I also tried all the cutting blades. I haven’t quite figured out what to do with what, but with a bit more experimenting I am sure I will figure it out. (Side note….i don’t love the pictorial instructions). Two different depths of slicers and various options for shredding give one a lot of flexibility Five different blades snap into the main disc. Removing and replacing the discs is very straightforward. The highlight is speed. This machine tears through everything so fast it is amazing. Often I am too lazy to drag out a kitchen appliance to do something I can do by hand, but the fact I have carpal tunnel syndrome combined with the power and speed of this machine will give me the incentive to do something. Mini chopper I have one of these choppers by another name brand and use it all the time so this was a duplicate for me. I will likely give away my old one as storage is an issue and the Braun unit is more powerful than the one I own. Main mixer hand tool: I used this unit on its own to use the potato masher (fantastic) and the immersion blender (also excellent). The only item that was a bit meh was the whisk. I haven’t used the ice crushing blade. I have a dedicated super heavy duty machine for that. An all purpose machine is not going to a great job with ice and why put the strain on the motor if you don’t have to. This is a very versatile machine and I can’t imagine that anyone who orders it will not be thrilled with their purchase. Highly recommend.

If you want functionality and easy of use, skip this!
Absolutely let down by this set (returned). Most of the features they have added to a basic immersion blender work against the ease of use that you are used to. First of all the immersion blender is a spring loaded head and you need to press it down on a surface each time you want to fully submerse the blades into whatever you're blending or mixing. I think it's more of a safety feature than anything, but it really works against you not being able to blend things in the middle of a full container, when it's not touching down on the bottom surface. Also there's a safety setting that constantly turns the mixer off when not in use, you are constantly needing to reactivate it every 5 seconds when you are not pressing the mix button. Next of all and my biggest letdown of the set, was the fact that the food processor attachment is absolutely useless. Even at full power and speed this thing barely moved completely cooked cauliflower, milk and butter as I try to make a cauliflower puree. Other reviews stated that this attachment was amazing, I'm here to confirm it is definitely not. Also I noticed a big issue of the food processor blade itself, is they are not far enough apart in the mixer. They are both too close to the bottom. If you are wanting to buy an all-in-one set, unfortunately it's just not going to give you the functionality as buying the tools individually at a higher quality. I've always wanted a food processor, looks like I'm going to have to buy one on its own if I want a proper working one. Ultimately I was replacing my original Braun immersion blender that was a 2 speed white plastic unit, that came with the small blender and whisk attachment. It work great for about 15 years for me. I also find that all the ones nowadays are stainless steel and food sticks much more to the surface than it did to the plastic. There seem to be almost a brushed steel finish on this which really grab things like melted cheese. My advice is stick to ones that have either a smooth stainless steel finish or plastic head for ease of clean. And nothing more than the whisk and small blender attachments. As you're just not going to get functionality that you want out of the rest for the money you spent.
