I'd buy this again! I got two additional piercings in my ear lobes, and this came recommended by my piercer. I used it twice a day as instructed, especially at the beginning of the healing phase. It helped SO much with the initial healing phase discomfort and calmed the area.That said, at one point I used it too often, and it dried out the delicate skin at the lobes and behind the ear. My skin flaked with overuse, but to fix that I applied a tiny bit of Vaseline on the affected areas twice a day with a Q tip.I stopped using this consistently about two weeks ago, and my ears are doing great - photo attached.

Bactine has been a staple in my first-aid kit. It’s easy to use, provides quick relief from the stinging and discomfort of minor cuts and scrapes, and is especially handy when you need something quick and convenient. I also like that it’s easy to apply without making a huge mess. Definitely something I like keeping on hand for everyday little accidents!

Bought for when I come in from yard work & stops itching quite well. The sprayer is real good so you can spray behind knees etc. I also use Benadryl clear gel in the tube but their spray has no power so did not buy again. Spray nice when you are losing your mind with mosquito bites. Recommend both products highly. If you run out of one you have the other.

My teenager son wanted both of his ears pierced. Once he had them pierced my main concern was keeping them clean and infection free! He wrestlers on his high school team and uses this product a few times a week! His piercings have healed perfectly!! Highly recommend this product. No skin irritation at all

I'm happy with this Bactine spray and would recommend considering it for a first aid kit if its ingredients suit your needs. It contains 4% lidocaine and benzalkonium chloride, in a liquid spray rather than a thick ointment. The no-sting formula is intended to be gentle, although individual skin irritation can still vary. It isn't an adhesive dressing. The instructions say to let it dry before covering with a sterile bandage, which is useful to know when pairing it with one.
