I bought the STANLEY Café To Go Travel Mug, 20 oz in Rose Quartz, as a Christmas gift for my mom, and I couldn’t be happier with how much she loves it. She drinks coffee every single day, and this mug has completely transformed her morning routine. Before this, she was using a regular mug that couldn’t keep her coffee hot and would often spill on the way to the car. With this STANLEY mug, all those problems are gone.The first thing she noticed was how leakproof it is. The two-part drink-through lid is brilliant, no drips, no spills, even when she carries it while running errands or commuting. She loves that she can put it in her bag without worrying about coffee leaking everywhere. This daffodil is a very nice yellow color. It looks much better than the photos online. I like it very much!It retains heat very well during the 1st hr., still very warm during the 2nd hr., getting lukewarm only toward the end of that 2nd hr. & quickly gets cooler than lukewarm afterward; and I only place the top lid on top the 2nd lid, not screwing it shut, while sipping.I like my coffee warmer than lukewarm so toward the end of the 2nd hr., I had to transfer my coffee to a ceramic mug to reheat it. However, I still like it so much, I'm keeping it. I think most stainless steel mugs can not truly retain heat per what the descriptions claim, unless you always keep the lid closed & only open to check the temperature.PROS:- Simple design of lids, which is so easy to wash & dry quickly!- When the top lid is screwed shut, it definitely helps retain heat better & longer my other brand stainless steel mugs.- Retain heat warmer than my current Owala smoothsip tumble- Its width (3.06 in.) is very comfortable to hold in my hand- Leak proof, when securely screwed both lidsCONS:- The top lid is not very easy to screw back on- No built in silicone bottom or comes with one. Without the silicone bottom, it's rather too tall (8.86 in.) & can easily tip over if accidentally touch/knock it, especially the base is narrower than the top.- Retain heat not as long as 5 hrs. like what the description claim, maybe 2.5 - 3 hrs. only.I bought it at a sale price ($20.92) so I feel it's worth the value & a keeper, despite the above Cons. I plan to buy another color when that's on sale too. :-)

I purchased the STANLEY Cafe To Go Travel Mug 16 oz | Leakproof Two-Part Drink Through Lid in August of 2026 for a sale price of $21. I very sadly had to stop using my Thermos-brand tumblers because I am not strong enough to pop and take apart the lids in order to clean them. The Stanley mug is VERY easy to clean and keep clean, keeps drinks very hot or cold with the top lid on, the size is perfect for small hands, the top handle is a wonderful feature, and I adore the daffodil and pink colors!

After using the Stanley Cafe To Go Travel Mug daily for the past week, I can confidently say it lives up to the brand’s reputation for durability and performance. If you’re looking for a mug that actually keeps your drink hot until the last sip, this is it.Temperature Retention:The vacuum insulation is incredible. I brewed a fresh cup of coffee at 7:00 AM, and it was still piping hot by noon. Even by the late afternoon, it remained at a pleasant, warm temperature. I’ve also tested it with iced water, and the ice was still clinking around after 12+ hours.Design and Portability:The 20 oz capacity is the "sweet spot"—it holds enough caffeine to get me through a long morning without being too bulky to carry. The "Cafe To Go" design is sleek and fits perfectly in my standard car cup holder. One of my biggest requirements was a truly leakproof lid, and this delivers. I’ve tossed it into my backpack next to my laptop, and I haven't seen a single drop of leakage.Ease of Use & Cleaning:The lid mechanism is intuitive and provides a smooth flow when drinking. When it comes to cleanup, the lid disassembles easily, which is a huge plus for preventing any buildup in the crevices. It’s also dishwasher safe, though I prefer hand-washing to keep the finish looking brand new great value I paid and is so durable I loved the color as well

The Stanley Café to Go Travel Mug keeps the coffee hot for a very reasonable amount of time, the carry hand she LOVES, it travels well, sits weii in a cupholder and it adds no aftertaste to the coffee WHATSOEVER. This last point is a HUGE factor of importance; and it doesn't leak or drip at all.She also commented that for her, the 20oz mug is a perfect size for her travels with a cuppa of hot coffee. After 4 or 5 other products in the past that had strengths and weaknesses, or were just downright bad, this product is worthy of 5 stars in her view.

I bought this for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift, he uses it all the time. It is definitely leak proof and fits in a car cup holder which is always nice. He’s been using it for 6 months and it hasn’t gotten scratched yet, we got it in black. Stanley cups are great at keeping your drinks hot, this is no different. It is very easy to clean too there aren’t any hard to get at areas.

My hubby loves how his coffee stays warm longer and it’s easier to carry given the handle is on top. Doesn’t leak and easy to clean!

I had a tried and true midnight blue Thermos for probably 15 years that I lovedlovedloved and finally had to get rid of. After ordering several (read: well over a dozen) travel cups on Amazon in search of the “perfect one”, this was the keeper. I was looking for simple design, leakproof, no side handle cup, that I could throw in my purse and that was easy to clean. (I wanted to be able to put my hand in the mug to wash it and not use a bottle brush. That’s just me being special.) I also wanted to be able to easily remove any rubber seals or gaskets for cleaning and I didn’t want anything larger than 16 ounces. I will say that this Stanley does not keep my drink as hot for as long as my old Thermos did or as other brands might, but it ticks all the other boxes I was looking for and I can live with not having the coffee I poured at 8 am be piping hot at 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Also, the handle on top is a game changer - it’s one of those things you never thought you needed until you had it. Thanks, Stanley! 😊 Lastly, the two part lid situation I really like. Sometimes I just take my full cup to work and want to pour my drink in a mug when I get there so I just use the top lid. When I am on the go, I use both lids. I’ve never had it leak and I carry it in my purse all the time. Granted, I have a structured purse but it has fallen over multiple times and I can even shake my beverage with the lid(s) on tight and nothing comes out. Such a winner for me. I’m writing this review after having used the product almost daily for over 6 months. Hope this is helpful!
