Extremely Easy Install
Works perfectly for my 2010 Buick Enclave cxl. I watched a YouTube video on how to install...took less than 5 min to remove the old and install these. Now my trunk door stays up. Waaay cheaper than Autozone and I feel great about this purchase.

Good product, it worked as advertised. I am happy with it.
Good struts at a fair price with reasonable delivery time. I got them today, installed them on our Lexus RX350 rear hatch. Perfect fit and the price was good. These replaced the originals that were used for 125692 miles. The rear power door had started to struggle to lift the door, now the door lifts without me having to help lift it open. The new struts fixed the power door opeing issue. I like them.

So far - so good :-)
Exact match for my 2009 Lexus RX350. Easy replacement and so far works fine. Cannot judge the longevity because installed them only a week ago and will report if any problem(s) occur. But so far - so good.

Economic replacement, but not exactly a total plug'n'play - better to have 2 people.
I got them installed and they seem to perform fine. Price was right but they aren't totally without difficulties. I wasn't sure I would be able to get them over the posts as they came fully extended and I could not get them to retract and they were just a bit too long. I did find that installing the one end on the door post first, and then, with significant upward lift one the door, was able to slip the other end over the frame post. Once I got the one side installed, I followed the same process with the other side. I did find that you don't need to remove the clip to get them to snap in place over the ball end of the posts, but suspect you may need to if you need to uninstall a strut, although I was able to get the coupler to pop off the ball of the post with the clip in place. I just hope they don't do so on their own, but so far, they properly support the rear door and seem to be working fine. If you're replacing an OEM strut, you will have to remove the original posts with a T-40 torx bit. The originals were installed with threadlock and I hand to break them loose with Tee wrench first, and then finish the job with an impact driver - two of them would not budge with the impact driver itself. The new posts required a metric open end or box wrench to insert and tighten. Overall, it took less than 45 minutes to install both, and probably 10 minutes of that were burned up trying to figure out how I has going to get them over the posts fully expended. As I said earlier, it was impossible to manually adjust the length so needed the absolute full opening of the door to slip onto the posts - lot's of upward pressure on the door. Would have been easier with 2 people doing the install, but if you are doing it with only one, make sure the door is securely braced open.

The Struts really lift your gate
This tailgate struts installed easily and they have performed well for the past six months or so. I was surprised and pleased. I have no idea what to expect. Everything about it was simple and efficient. For me, it was necessary to find the right tool to remove the old struts and install the new ones. I forget what it was – a large Phillips head screwdriver, perhaps, or maybe a hex wrench. I don’t remember, but whatever it was it all worked smoothly.

Not the same as old gas lift strut.
I bought these for my Kis Sorento in late December last year. So 5 months ago I purchased this product and I am already having a problem with them. I got hit in the hand with my boot tailgate. The gas struts are already failing and my car is an SUV and is a wagon so the tailgate is heavy so it hurt alot. I want to ask Amazon for warranty. Not good enough. 5 months and already failing.

Doesn't fit 2009 rx350
Either the wrong product was shipped or it simply didn't fit a 2009 Lexus Rx350. I would have returned it but it was over 30 days before I got my mechanic to install it. Quality seemed fine bit the struts I received were way too small for a Rx350 tailgate.i have purchased some more from Ebay and they worked fine.

They just work
These hold my trunk open on my SUV. They do such a good job, that I really have to give a good pull to close the trunk now.
