Yes, it is intended for wool felt and fur felt hats. Works well on Stetson’s Buffalo Felt hats, too.

Q: Would this have protector work on a black 6x station skyline?

Yes, it’s exactly what I use on all my Stetson’s, including my black Skyline. Just follow the directions, and don’t overdo it.

Q: do i have to reapply over time?

I would say yes. Treat it like other protective treatments and re-apply depending on usage and environment.
