It doesn't have that overwhelming, choking chemical smell that some cheaper brands have, which makes it much more comfortable to use in the bedroom overnight. Keep the windows closed for the first 15 minutes after switching it on to let the vapor concentrate, then you can crack a window for ventilation—the protection still holds up!
