Logitech G25 Racing Wheel

If you like realistic driving games, you will love this. Although the wires are indeed short, they were long enough for me. The pedal-base's carpet grip works like a charm. The only complaint I have is the gear-shifter not being stiff enough and thus making it easy to mis-shift.The wheel arrived in top condition, and since I got it in late September 2008 it has not broken or even been damaged, however the "stainless steel" steering wheel seems to have obtained a dark grey stain of some kind.Overall it deserves 5-stars for being as realistic as it is and I would recommend it to anyone. It's great value for money - it may cost nearly twice as much as a lesser wheel but it's about twenty times as good.

Good Quality .. very nice indeed. This works on both PC and playstation. I use it with Midnight LA and is a treat to play. You need to sepnd 5-10 mins to configure this for a perticular game. But once done the experience is totally different.Even my 3 year old daughter is able to use this ( when in automatic gear configuration ).Very good ...Must have for gamers.RegardsGuru

After seeing the G25 about 2 years ago I finally decided to buy it. It is true that it feels of great quality and the smell of real leather is really cool you when you rip open the plastic for the first time. The purpose of this review is to highlight the bad things about it, I was slightly dissapointed when I recieved this, especially because of all the amazing things I have heard about it.1. The wheel does feel "Notchy" or "Clicky" I have been told that you get used to it and it goes away after a while.2. The shifter is slightly dissapointing, it is usable but has a "Plasticy" feel to it, at first I was very dissapointed but again you get used to it.3. Force feedback is slightly unrealistic. This is pretty much the first wheel i have, so I havent got a lot to compare it to but the force feedback as youre turning/going off road does feel slightly delayed and unrealistic, this is more of a opinion then a fact, but I personally am not 100% happy with it but its still pretty ok.So basically consider this before buying it, and do NOT get your hopes up too high, I think thats what I done, I had heard soo many great things about it, so I was expeting this amazing, perfect flawless product. Its still good, but you got to ask yourself if its worth the money.This is just my opinions and I hope it helps someone, feel free to ask questions by commenting.++++++++++++++++EDIT - 10/04/09++++++++++++++++After a couple months use I have tried most driving games on pc and the ONLY one I think is good is Live For Speed.A big "negative" thing I found with the G25 are the cables, first of all it is annoying to setup because you have 4 cables going from the steering wheel to: Power, pc, Gearbox, Pedals, and the quality of the cables are BAD! The cable going from the Pedals had been jammed against something so it broke off, I had to cut it off and join 5 different tiny tiny wires together and tape it all together, it works fine now, but be careful with the cables they will bend/snap/break easily!

Awesome steering wheel with accurate force feedback from the leaders in game controllers IMHO. The addition of the clutch pedal and the gear shifter module makes it even better.The build quality is very good, having proper metal and leather as part of its construction. It feels nice and solid in use without any undue looseness anywhere.

Can't fault this, it one of the best products I have for gaming with my racing and truck sim. Since I got this it is still working and the forcefeed back is still the same from day one.It arrived on time from the seller and it blows my mind on how good a product this is from Logitech.

I bought the G25 pretty much when it first came on the market and, as good as the kit is, it only really comes into its own when used with a suitable mounting frame (for example the Playseat).The G25 is well made. The wheel and pedals very good, the gearstick somewhat dainty.Despite small build deficits, the kit offers a three pedal set up and gated gearstick. Yeah, there's no progressive feedback from the brake (as felt from the hydraulics of a real car), nor notchy or even impossible gear changes from the gear stick (you can change from whatever high-speed into first or even reverse in any game without physical resistance - but the game should blow your gearbox).The excess of (somewhat thin) cables is irritating, but if you're lucky enough to be able to leave the steering set-up where it is used, then you can ensure that this doesn't become a problem.I've used the G25 with many sim/games (GTA / RBR / Live4Speed) and all gave exceptional feedback to enhance the immersive feeling. Unfortunately I have had extensive problems with rFactor - to the effect that the steering wheel reacted quite the opposite of a real car (no force when stationary, and fighting ghostly co-drivers at high speed). I've trawled many forums and lost many lifetimes trying to sort this problem (including many driver/OS and PC combinations).For this reason the kit gets 4 stars from me (although my mate's G25 works (enviuosly) flawlessly with rFactor and easily feels the most realistic of all the games - but not mine!Summing up. An expensive piece of kit. Worth the money, and a definite "must have" for any serious, non-arcade, driving simulator. Beware - you may also get a "Friday afternoon" build (as I seem to have), which defies all attempts to get it to work as it's counterparts do ...

Its a good wheel the best feed back I have found, out of all the wheels I have used.The gear shift and peddles give an all round driving experience.
