I have always used loofahs for bathing, and I loved the way body wash lathered up with them, but I would get grossed out by the idea of mold or mildew forming in the inner parts that never quite got dry before being used again. When I saw a video of African net sponges, I was immediately intrigued. They're basically an unraveled loofah but also so much more! When they first arrived, I didn't notice much of a smell, but I did rinse them in hot water to get the excess dye out before using them. But once that's done, they're as low maintenance as it comes. After every use, I hang mine from the little attached loop, and it dries very quickly and completely. The net sponges are great for exfoliation. They're not too rough but the little nubby parts on the net are perfect for getting rid of dry, dead skin. I have really noticed a difference in my "strawberry legs" as well as the KP on the backs of my arms since I started using the net sponge and overall, my skin just feels cleaner and smoother. Also, I love that it's big enough to reach all the parts you need it to reach. You can scrub your back without twisting yourself into a pretzel! These net sponges are also super durable and will last much longer than a loofah. They're easy to throw into the washing machine as well. I've been using my first one daily for a while now and it's still showing no signs of wear. So, I think these are a great value for the money because four of them should last you for a long time! Also, it doesn't really matter but the colors are lovely. I haven't personally had any kind of irritation but if you have very sensitive or delicate skin, daily exfoliation with these might be a bit much for you. But if, like me, you're fighting KP and "strawberry legs", I highly, highly recommend giving these a try!

This is my favorite brand for African exfoliating nets. This would be my third time buying this pack. I love it so much. I feel like this exfoliates my skin just the right amount. I recommend this to everyone.
