Nice Frequency Range
My factory Bose system has no hair. I started with a budget powered sub, that help but only at the very low range. Tapped that in factory rear line inputs. This sub increased range. Eventually changing Amp to better match the Pioneer's frequency response for even more sound quality.

It sucks
Went though 2 of them with in a few months of install. It says 600w max 1way but I’m sure it’s a lot less and bass don’t hit

Powerful Sub!
Really great sub! Love the bass and the power! Those who gave it less than 5 stars are probably the ones who do not know how to install subwoofers properly. Great buy!

Sounded good but just keep blowing
The Speaker sounded great I have 1 12 in box. The amp is a minor block pioneer amp 1200 watts I have it turned almost all the way down. No distortion what so ever. After break in period these speakers just keep blowing. I had the comp 12 it lasted for like 3 years before it blew and the amp was turned up! Won't be buying this model again. I'm 50 man not really trying to ride around with 2 woofers rattling in the trunk lol... but I MAY HAVE TOO!!!

Failed after only a week.
I am running a JL 500/1 mono 500w -And started clipping after 3rd day .. amp set to 30% -Speaker was in a ventilated box

Best 10' in it's class
I'm pushing this off a 600w amp, and it sounds better than half the systems I hear at work 10/10 recommend
