Collects Fantastic Four (1998) #570-578, Dark Reign: Fantastic Four #1-5 and material from Dark Reign: The Cabal. Legendary writer Jonathan Hickman's sprawling, landmark run begins here! Dark Reign strikes Marvel's first family in an explosive way - with H.A.M.M.E.R. agents attacking the Baxter Building! But as Reed Richards builds a bridge across the Multiverse to learn how to solve everything, he finds more than he bargained for. What is the Council? The FF deal with the Wizard and the Mole Man; a familiar visitor arrives from the future with a mysterious message; and the team journeys deep beneath the Earth, under the sea and to the moon - where they learn a startling secret about the history of the Inhumans. It's superior super-hero storytelling as only Jonathan Hickman can deliver it! Review: Love it - Love this!!! Full color and great pages. Love the price for this collection! From the first the the last comic of the F4. Great story telling and it arrived in great shape as well. Review: Fun Read! - I really enjoyed reading this! I made the purchase mostly for nostalgia, but as I read, I quickly got into the story.

Is Hickman the savior of modern day comics?
Jonathan Hickman came on the comics scene with his first hit, "The Nightly News." With that books success and the other work he did at Image comics with multiple miniseries, Marvel took notice and put him on some smaller Marvel books, like Secret Warriors. After that, Marvel moved him to one of their tentpole books, Marvels first family, The Fantastic Four. Hickman took over the book and immediately made it his own. The family all had a distinct voice of their own, while still feeling fresh. Hickman starts his run on the FF in a contemporary setting during the "Dark Rein" period, following secret invasion. It doesn't do too much to set up the future of what's to come with his run on the book, but we do get revelations about Reed and Sues son, Franklin. Franklin Richards is beginning to use his mutant powers once again, and displays a small fraction of what's to come with is abilities, which goes far and wide in Hickmans Fantastic Four and FF series. After the Dark Rein mini, he hops onto the series proper. With this move he takes full control, and starts seeding little bits and pieces that will become important, not only for the Fantastic Four, but also his run on Avengers and New Avengers. The story is told in seemingly one shots, or one and done's, but establishes all you will need to know going forward, wether you are new to the book, or a returning reader. The Fantastic Four sold very well, and continued Marvels faith in Hickman to breathe life into a book, and boost sales. This Fantastic Four run has also influenced pop culture. You may have seen Rick and Morty, and if you have you will see plenty of sci fi concepts appear here, that you may have never realized were popularized with the FF. There are also other TV shows and movies, as well as other comics that have either riffed Hickmans style, concepts, or story beats. All in all, I cannot recommend this book more. Hickman is a genius, and to this day with his revival of the X-Men, comics are looking better than they have in years. House of X and Powers of X is the first time I, personally, have ever cared, or been able to follow the X-Men. 5/5

Great comic, low quality book.
Honestly.. The quality isnt the greatest. Very thin pages, book feels flimsy. Arrived half warped. However the actual comic is fantastic! My first time reading fantastic 4 and I love it.

Vale a pena.
Primeiro volume da excelente fase do Hickman no quarteto, retornando às raízes de ficção científica. Muito recomendado.
