If you haven’t used the 1/2 gal size they are awesome. Too many times the 1 gal are too much or too big and the qt are too small. The 1/2 gal are just perfect.

I've always liked and trusted ZIPLOC. I've tried more inexpensive half gallon freezer storage baggies but I always come back to a lot of the name brands like ZIPLOC because with ZIPLOC half gallon freezer food storage baggies, the off brands or less expensive brands just don't compare too great next to these. With these ZIPLOC baggies they stand up better and seal a whole lot better (with these I know there's no spills sneaking out of the baggies while in my freezer/fridge. They keep my food way fresher with great oder resistance. I know I can trust my food from not getting freezer burnt while freezing food (meats especially) and I appreciate how easy they are to use. So if you're looking for superb quality I recommend ZIPLOC every time no matter what size and type of food storage baggies you're needing because ZIPLOC has never let me down. But if you need a more budget friendly food storage baggies I recommend Amazon's brand;to me they come closer to a better quality type baggies for food storage than most other off brands or less expensive brands.

Great for freezing 1lb packages of meat, repackaging cold cuts to stay fresh and a host of other jobs. Sturdy, zip seal works well tho I prefer zip. I have these on my subscribe and save now.
