Really Great!
I've never written a review before but these are great. I suffer from both cold sores and blisters because I'm allergic to jalapeño and raw ginger. Normally I use abreva and deal with 7-10 days of sores scabs and ugliness and it always spreads because you can't eat from a straw all the time. Just only 3 days and it seems like it hasn't spread or turned into a full blister and I can see it's started to heal already. I did have difficulty the first time putting it on and it got worse when I had to peel it off but then I read up that it's best to take it off with water and just stretch the edges which really worked. Key is to leave it on as long as possible to mitigate the stickiness and change it less frequently(which I was changing every few hours and found it unnecessary) the last two days I just dressed it once daily. I also made a natural oil mix of lemon balm, tea tree, peppermint and lavender with a tiny bit of grape seed oil that I would put as a topical solution on my lip to air it out for an hour so that it would be dry to apply the patch on. Combo seems effective and I can't believe At day 3 it has subsided and there's no blister pain. The patches are good because it protects my lip from irritants like dampness, smoke, eating and drinking and salad dressings which I think is key to containing the sores. Awesome product and I just bought another pack and also am going to try that other brand compeed to see the differences

The best dots for cold sores
I’ve tried different types of these colloid dots. These seem to be the best. Thinner and a little smaller than most. These are the only ones I’m buying in the future.

Works Fast and Stays Discreet
Quantum Health Lip Clear came through when I needed it. It helps soothe the pain and itching quickly, and I noticed my cold sore healing faster than usual. The best part is it goes on clear and blends in well, so it’s not obvious you’re treating anything. It doesn’t sting, and it’s easy to reapply throughout the day. Definitely keeping this on hand for any future flare-ups.

Personally. I like it
This isn’t a magic patch that will turn invisible when put on a cold sore. However, when I put the patch on it completely made it disappear and the patch is ALMOST invisible. You can tell it’s there but I don’t think anyone would notice unless they are staring. It’s been healing faster than my past cold sores I’ve had. I don’t like the sticky residue that stays when you peel it off. Other than that. I would definitely get again!

It ripped my cold sore off and delayed healing.
I put one on a cold sore and within 24 hours, the patch was bubbling up and looking weird. It looked worse than my cold sore on its own, so I started to peel it off, and it stuck to my cold sore scab that was forming. It ripped the scab off of my lip and hurt like heck, and took another week to heal. I am not only disappointed in the product, I'm angry they make a product that can hurt you.

Too thick, get Compeed instead
These are better than nothing, but I much prefer the Compeed brand. Compeed's are thinner, stick on much better, and are truly invisible. This Quantum Health version is too thick to be invisible--- the edges of the bandage don't vanish, in fact they can stick up a bit, wheras that just doesn't happen with Compeed. Compeed is almost as thin as a piece of Tegaderm, if you're familiar with that product, but Tegaderm doesn't make a cold sore bandage. Compeed brand bandage is also a tiny bit larger than Quantum, which makes it more versatile, because it works equally well on small or large sores. Both brands remove easily, and take makeup well. I use Compeed's to cover up occasional acne breakout as well, because I don't like putting makeup over a pimple, it's not sanitary, it never looks very convincing, and makes it hard for the breakout to heal. So I just apply a dab of tea tree oil to the pimple, pop on a cold sore bandage and then put the concealer makeup over top. It works perfectly, completely hides the breakout, and the pimple is healed within a shorter time. Same routine for a cold sore, try it!

4 day Cold Soars
My cold soars last less with this product, I wear it as soon as I feel one coming out. I wear it. They speed up the process making my cold soar last about 4 days. You still go thru the process, I don’t like that they are small. Which they were bigger.

These work well. They hurt taking them off . But they do the trick. Keep them on for a few hours and remove . Keep in mind . Everyone is different. What works for one , may not work for someone else.

For a normal size cold sore along the lip line or other dry surface, these are Ana amazing. To the point where i got to slip the scaly yellow phase bc it was so good at absorbing the viral secretions. On cold sores inside the lip or on a moist membrane- of course not as good, but still can be attached to a dry area or layered with two to provide some coverage. It was important to me to cover to protect my baby. In summary, if you are looking for function (absorption, a barrier) this is a good product. If you are looking for cosmetic coverage or a thinner product to apply makeup over, try the Compeed brand- they are larger, but thinner and less absorbent.

It does what it says it’s gonna do it conceive it hid the sore while it healed. It did its job. It made me feel a couple of times lightheaded and have longer sleeps, but it did its job so if you don’t mind a little headache, you should be good to go to use this product.

This is a great alternative to the Polysporin patches that I used to purchase however, they are not a made available anymore. This work just as good as the Polysporin ones and they are clear and hidden if you need to wear them during the day, I personally do not like wearing them during the day if I have to go out and about, they are great to wear overnight as you lick your lips less so the adhesive stays on a lot longer. The only one thing that I will say about this product is that it did stain my upper lip part where the skin is in the summer when the sun hits my face it does not tan that one part anymore, which is a little odd however I got make up so I’m not concerned.

Not invisible that’s what you need to know. It’s basically translucent and the edge is very visible. Except putting on some sort of lipstick, you’re not hiding much of anything. It’s also not the easiest to take it off the paper before application. Maybe still useful as a barrier to put sunscreen on and protect against further injury but won’t get my hopes up.
