This item should not be used as an outlet connection from machine to waste pipe run due to the fact that waste WILL get trapped in the bellows of the FDT-00, the best way to do your connection from the correct outlet bend sent with the machine to the pipe run is to use a telescopic McAlpine TP10 all-in-one trap

Was great for the price and quality is what you expect. Stopped our garbage disposal leak so we are beyond happy.

The Insinkerator couldn't be bothered to tell me about this part, I had to go hunt for it myself

Worked fine for the disposal discharge connection to under sink plumbing connection. Original 1-1/2" pvc cut too short and pipe had been leaking over time. Will admit to using lithium lubricant (used for pool o-rings, etc.) just to be on the safe side. Hate redoing work due to water leakage. Stretched pvc accordian tube to max, about 10-3/4" to make good connection. Also bought Danco kit that had the 2 screws since the existing screws were corroded. No leaks. This is a great fix for a misalignment between disposal and plumbing connection. Well worth the expense.

I installed a new garborator and the drain pipe was slightly offset and the provided garborator drain didn't fit correctly. This flexible one was exactly what I needed.
