Good for little tykes
Firmly believing that it's a grandpa's duty to make sure the grand-kids learn baseball, I bought two of these: one for my two-year old grand-daughter and one to keep at my house for her visits. It's very well made, simple to set up, transports well and just right for the two to four-year old set. It's not a batting trainer per se but it's great for getting down the fundamentals of swinging and hand-eye coordination. The construction is very durable and once she moves on to a real batting tee in a couple of years, I'm sure it'll last long enough for my grand-son's use. You can buy this is pink but I opted for the red and blue, non-gender specific, version. It's a great way to spend time with two things I love: my grand-daughter and baseball. And if it works that well for a Yankee fan grandfather and a Red Sox loving grand-daughter, it'll work just as well for you.

Every toddler needs one!
My toddler son loved this plastic t-ball set! It offers endless fun, with durability and so easy to clean. We created so many fun memories playing with this set in our backyard. Every toddler should have one of these!

Great T-Ball Set for Kids!
This was a Christmas present for our twin toddlers and we have finally gotten a chance to use it outside! My kids love playing with it. All of the parts are a hard plastic so it's very durable and perfect for young children. The set is very simple to set up. The tee screws into the base and the balls sit easily on top of it. The tee is the perfect height and the bat isn't too heavy or light. This set also easily hangs on the wall. The balls snap into the bottom of the base and the tee and bat hang from the base. For the hours of fun we have gotten out of it thus far, the cost was very reasonable. We haven't tried other T-ball sets but this one has been good for us and I would highly recommend it!

Great American Pasttime!
This was an Easter gift from the Easter Bunny! It was also the "hit" gift of this year. My son is 2 and a little over 36" tall. I'm 5'10" so he's tall like his family is tall. A concern I had was whether this would be too short. Huzzah! It was not! I screwed the ball pedestal in all the way in just to see and it turns out it's the perfect height. So, if you have a tall toddler, no worries it will be high enough and it will grow with you because the height is adjustable simply by screwing the red pedestal on the blue baseplate. The set comes with a yellow bat and two white balls. The bat and balls are hollow and lightweight. The set is designed with the ability to hang the plate base onto a wall for storage by screwing in hooks that don't come with it. It appears it's only designed for a wooden fence or another surface where you can place hooks on it. I don't have a wooden fence nor would I ever want to hang this on my wooden fence, but I guess some people do. However, that's the only way you can store the balls. The balls rest into groove when the baseplate is hung up. There's no ability to clip these balls in without the base being hung on a wall which drives a momma of a toddler crazy because are just free and loose. The pedestal screws out and it and the bat slide into holes on the baseplate. Everything is then flush against the wall. It is made of all plastic and thus easy to clean. It's probably made of some environmentally unfriendly material, but it's an outdoor toy. Given that I've been strict on knowing where my son's toys come from, what they are made of, and their safety record, I can bend on something's. It was shipped in a fairly large box (read wasteful) for items that can be packaged flat considering the durability of the plastic. It's not fine china! As far as fun goes, my son enjoyed his Easter morning running around with a bat and hitting the balls all morning and afternoon. Heck, even I wanted to play some teeball! My only complaint is the storage of the balls factor, but that will matter less when I get an outdoor toy chest and he can just toss everything in chest. I would also like additional balls and a ba so that more than one child can play at time, but maybe some Craigslist searching can yield that wish.

Move over, Shohei—my nephew just cleared the neighbor’s fence
I bought this for my 2-year-old nephew . I didn't just buy a plastic toy; I inadvertently opened a portal to the Major Leagues. Within twenty minutes of unboxing, he traded his pacifier for a high-performance batting stance. He’s no longer "playing" in the backyard; he’s "putting in work." Yesterday, he looked at a juice box, shook his head at the sugar content, and started doing lunges. The adjustable height is great because it grows with him, which is necessary since he’s apparently developing the forearms of Mark McGwire. The oversized bat is forgiving, but don't let the "hollow plastic" sound fool you—when he connects, that ball disappears into the horizon like it owes him money. I’m currently scouting agents and checking if the Yankees offer preschool scholarships. If you want your child to have a normal childhood, buy a sandbox. If you want to retire early on a 10-year, $700 million contract, buy this tee.

My 2 year old's FAVORITE toy!
What an awesome purchase! I snagged this for my 26 month old son after he had a blast playing with a similar one at a friend's house. He has basically lived outside since it arrived. What I've found really cool about this set is the autonomy it gives him. Because he can set up the ball, swing, and field all by himself, he can play independently while we watch and cheer. It was rough at first as he mostly just hit the tee itself, but now he's making consistent line drives (which of course makes it an even MORE fun toy as far as he's concerned!). My only quibble is that "adjustable height" seems like a stretch to me, since the red piece screws into the blue base, and it's a bit wobbly unless you do tighten it all the way in. All other features as promised, though. My son is 26 lbs. and 34-35" tall for picture sizing reference.

An instant hit
We bought this for my cousin's son as a gift for his 2nd birthday earlier this summer. He's interested in almost everything he can do outside, so a t-ball set seemed like a good idea. He opened a lot of gifts at his birthday party, but this was the first one he wanted to have unpackaged so that he could play with it. His father set it up in less than a minute, and the little boy had a blast. He hit ball after ball, as the adult guests picked up the balls and tossed them back. It probably won't last forever, as it's made of plastic. However, it seems sturdy enough for a 2-year old (and eventually his little brother) to play with without it falling apart. A perfect gift for a sports-loving toddler.

One of my 3yo's fave bday gifts!
We just gave this toy to my son for his third bday and he loves it! He told everyone who asked him what he wanted for his bday that he wanted a bat & ball so he was super excited to open this. He is very tall for his age (90%, 39 in) & I was worried about it being too short for him but its not. It feels very well made, not cheap and flimsy at all. He is able to swing the bat & the oversized balls are easy to hit & aren't heavy enough to do any real damage. He's only had it two days but so far he's played it nonstop and really likes it. I reccommend this toy to anyone who has a child who likes baseball/tball.
