After being hit by a drunk driver and watching a YouTube with people intentionally causing an accident, I purchased the Blackvue front and rear cameras. They are very crisp pictures with video to capture actual events. Money well spent.

I purchased this dash cam on January 21, 2025, and I have been extremely disappointed with its performance. Every few days, the device shuts off unexpectedly, and at times it is difficult to get it working again. I have confirmed that there is sufficient storage space available and that loop recording is enabled, so I am unsure why the dash cam continues to stop working. I previously owned another dash cam and did not experience any of these issues. I reached out to blackvue and no response. DO NOT BUY THIS DASH CAM

Bought this simply because I was told by other Ferrari owners that it was the best. Installed it easily enough by myself yesterday. The Wifi connection is hit-and-miss despite being in the car with my phone right there. I guess I am more disappointed that its not truly a "cloud dashcam". Dont call it a Cloud Dashcam, make me pay $500+, then tell me I have to have a seperate in-car hotspot or purchase your $150 CM100GLTE module. So basically, I paid $550 for a high quality 4k dash cam but am otherwise locked off from most of the beneficial features if I dont pay for the cloud or upgrade from the free base plan. Id like to note that all other reviews are from Amazon Vine customers who apparently got their BlackVue for free.

Wifi connection to phone is good. EZ to download video clips. The small design style is easily hidden and does not take up window viewing space. Reliable and dependable.

Waste of money! I can’t even log into the app so the entire “ease of use” is garbage. I owned one of the cameras a couple years ago and loved it, but they changed the app and now it’s useless. Also their returns are a joke so now I’m out nearly $500 since it’s not an Amazon return. Learn from my mistake and stay away!
