Will this fit the ESAM 6900M? The description specifically says it will, but one answer says it won't fit any ESAM water tanks? Thanks.

I can't get this filter to stay in place in my ec685 machine? it keeps popping to the surface? what am i doing wrong…

Are you soaking it first? I can't remember the exact instruction off the top of my head but I recall that before placing it in situ I was directed to pour water into it until it overran. You may be fighting an air pocket until you do that.

I would imagine so as it is described as a "water softener filter".
