DECOMIL Treasure Within Puzzle Secret Magic Box Hand Made Unique Jewelry Box

I got one of these about 20 years ago as a gift from my husband who was overseas in Turkey in the military and i have always loved it, my husband returned to Turkey a few years later and i had him buy another one for my sister for her birthday and they are the only two i have ever seen like them with the beatuiful carvings. My children fell in love with my mysterious box and as they got older i eventually showed them the secret to opening it after watching them try numerous times. I decided a long time ago both of my children would get their own magic puzzle box and that keeps them from fighting over mine, i bought my sons last year when he was 14 and it was his alltime fav gift. This one was ordered for my 13 year old daughter and its perfect right down to the beautiful intricate carving that suits a girl, this will be her favorite gift this year also and they will like me and my sister treaure them for years and years and evetually pass them down if they can't be found anymore. This one was about 20.00 more than i paid for the last one but because of the sentimental importance and value it will hold for my child i was just happy to find it

I liked the look of the box, and that the mechanism for unlocking takes more than a single hidden step. I would have given the box a very good review except that the lock was entirely non-functional. For me, it didn't matter if I had the key or solve the puzzle, because the box will not lock. I would like to give this a better review, but won't until it gets fixed or replaced.Update: After contacting the company, they were helpful in replacing the box; unfortunately, the new box had the same issue with the lock, so this seems to be a normal issue. Also the quality of the new box was even lower, with an animal carving on the top, and with the bottom mechanism very loose and jiggly. I'm improving my review by 1 star for the company service, but can't rank this as a good product.

Very Pleased. My son was very happy with his puzzle box. I bought this as a replacement for the one that was destroyed in a move that we had bought him in a move from Turkey. I would suggest that anyone buy this box. It is beautiful. Very prompt and fast.

Pretty nice box - much larger than I expected (which is good). Nice design. Beware ... no instructions so you will need to look at the pictures on this page to figure it out. The pieces are tight at first (again, which is good). Therefore, you will need to open/close several times to loosen the pieces.The inside is 7" x 3.5" - large enough to hold gift cards, small box, etc.This is for my nephew who LOVES puzzle boxes. I will be very surprised if he is able to figure it out but we will see. He has surprised me before. I will have printout of the pictures just in case.

I bought this as an anniversary present for my husband, read the reviews and decided to test it out to make sure it worked. I was really happy with the box and the neat ways to open, except our lock didn't work. I was pretty bummed about it, so I'm returning it and ordered a new one. Praying the next one isn't defective.

Love the box!If you do this carefully, the box shouldn't hurt you in any waySince it is wood, you need to force it a bit, but after a couple of days it starts to "loosen" up a bit so it should be finethe parts came perfectly, I just needed to sand down the nail that was holding down that middle column because it was poking outIf you don't know how to open the box, just look up a youtube video, all Turkish Puzzle boxes are the same

Had one as a child and when I got it I had a flood of memories. Well constructed, have to be gentle or could damage it. Love it. Great purchase. Seller did a awesome job
