Must have thickener!
This is a staple item in our house. I use it to thicken everything from Ranch Dressing to Sweet and Sour Sauce. It is flavorless and creates a nice mouthfeel hot or cold.

Thickens well without heat
We use this to thicken hot sauces that are too thin without having to heat them...works great and doesn't change the flavor of the hot sauce...great product

mix with konjac for shirataki noodles
I'm no cook, but I did discover this: mix ultra-tex 8 (1 tablespoon) to 1/4 cup konjac powder for improvement in tofu shirataki noodles vs the usual konjac/tofu only. Tried a bunch of other things (e.g. xanthan gum) with no success.
