Cheap, good-looking, and it works!
I love my custom Roche-Bobois bubble-style sectional that costs $20k+. I wanted a similar cheap couch for kids and saw them being made in on Alibaba. The are squished foam and come vacuum-packed in a surprisingly small box. After opening, it takes a day to expand, but now feels pretty firm. The backrest leans back at around 45 degrees, so you can't really sit upright and lean back comfortably. But the seating is solid and it is soft and safe for my kids.
