LIVAUVEAD Murphy Bed Full, Murphy Bed Cabinet with Headboard, White

I normally don’t leave reviews a lot. But here I am because this bed is awesome. I currently live in a very tight space with family, so I have been using foldable mattresses for couple years, but this year my back said I should have a proper bed even without the space. I was very worried about the bed’s quality when I placed an order because it didn’t have much reviews, but I am glad I ordered this Murphy bed. It was relatively easy to assemble for me, just be careful with orientation of pieces and match the screw holes (they were all defined properly) in the manual. It’s great in comfort and sturdiness, it’s much stronger than I expected, it’s super easy to open and close, and looks really pretty and space saving. So if you are getting it for your basement, your guest room or your kids’ room, or for everyday use like me because of the tiny space we live in, it’s perfect. It doesn’t come with the mattress which I knew but I already had a foldable twin mattress which fits in great and it goes inside the bed cabinet which makes it super easy to get my bed ready every night.

I bought this so we would have an extra bed when company comes. Having a small house, this is a good fit for us as it folds up when not in use. It wasn't too difficult to assemble, my wife built it by herself without too much difficulty. The instructions weren't great...just pictures with number/alphabet indicators, but were enough to get the job done. While it is relatively easy to open, the front door panel is a bit heavy, and it works best on a level floor. Over all a great product in usability and looks!

Poorly made!!! The wood started cracking within the first day, it also did not connect correctly. It took me nearly 5 hours to put together, and it still did not look the way it looked in the picture. I tried to message to get a refund and they did nothing for me. Horrible item do not buy. Also the mattress does not come included and they don’t mention that so in total you’re spending about $700 for the mattress and this.

Overall I am pleased with the bed itself, despite assembly having some issues. There was a problem with the construction of one of the metal drawer slides, and took some maneuvering to get it to work. Some of the pre-drilled holes were missing, leading to some confusion. The biggest complaint I have is that some of the support slats were missing. At first, customer service seemed apologetic and helpful, promising to get the slats to me in 2 weeks time. This was inconvenient, as I needed to use it right around that timeframe, but I was hopeful. I’ve never yet received the missing pieces, and they aren’t something standard that I can order. I have no hope of them ever actually delivering the pieces, and it will cost me more in effort, time, and supplies than the $10 they credited me for the inconvenience. Disappointed with the customer service.

Definitely one of the hardest pieces of furniture I’ve bought on Amazon to build but it came out really nice. The directions are difficult to follow and some of the pieces were a little messed up around the corners, doesn’t affect function just cosmetic. It’s stable and sturdy but difficult to fold. It’s very heavy. I like the pearlescent color. I was expecting plain white like the bookshelves. It’s comfortable for a fold up bed. The mattress I bought separately is difficult to fold up in it. You have to fold that up and place it in the bottom section once it’s folded. Then you can fold the rest together and close the top.

Very easy to assemble. The instructions are clear, and every piece is labeled and numbered. I highly recommend using an electric screwdriver because there are many screws; even with one, it took me about two hours to assemble. The packaging is excellent. Every piece was very well protected and arrived in perfect condition. Once assembled, the bed looks beautiful and exactly like the pictures. The color, size, and design are perfect. It also includes extra screws plus built-in outlets with USB and USB-C ports, which is very convenient. The only downside is that when the bed is pulled out, one corner near the last drawer becomes exposed and could cause scratches or bumps if you’re not careful, especially for children. A corner protector would have been a great addition. Other than that, I loved it and definitely recommend it.

I wanted to love this but I used it once and then ended up getting rid of it. For starters, one of the knobs came stripped on the inside. It was also hell putting this thing together - so many pieces. I also measured and bought the recommended three piece twin mattress but the Murphy bed would not close flush with the mattress pads inside the Murphy bed - kind of defeating the purpose. When it was folded out into the bed - it was extremely durable and I did like that there was an actual drawer for storage underneath.

I initially wanted to give only a few stars because I thought this bed could easily break. Then I realized you have to pull the part out underneath to stabilize the bed. Now I give it 5 stars. So if the bed seems like it will crack, be sure the bottom piece is pulled all the way out!
