I bought this as a generator at work didn't start when there was a power cut. (Battery wouldn't hold it's charge). Anyway ordered it and it came the next day..I took it to work the next day and hooked it up to the generator. Started first time, fantastic piece of kit to have, and keep it in my car now. You don't have to rely on anyone with this. As you do with jump leads. (another vehicle needed). Also like the ports on it to charge phones etc, and a torch. Glad I bought it, good price and as long as you keep it charged up you shouldn't get stranded anywhere.. Battery in generator replaced now. Happy days.

Great product. Connected up to car battery and left it for a minute to get some power in the battery, turned the key and it started up straight away. Highly recommend.

Looks reasonablely well made it was reduced to £39.99 so thought it might be worth a punt as I've just purchased a hybrid car and reading reviews they have to start up in electric mode so if your battery goes flat you can plug this in to get you going it's small enough to fit in glove box and leave it in so it available in an emergency it does recommend you check the charge every three months for state of charge haven't luckily had to use it yet so watch this space.

2l petrol engine Mini with deeply discharged battery (4V - broken). This battery pack connected directly to battery - absolutely needed "Boost" button on adapter pressing. This boost lasts a limited time (?20 secs) but the boost can be repeated as needed - I think the button may need pressing a couple of times in a row to re-engage the boost - there is an audible and palpable "clunk" from the adapter when this happens. I wasn't very hopeful as a full sized booster battery didn't have enough oomph to turn the engine over. This little boost battery has been sat in my other car for a few months, unused, and I thought I'd give it a go. With the boost activated as above, measured static voltage at 15V, and engine turned over and started on first attempt. I'm truly very impressed, I was certain that I'd need a proper jump start from another vehicle. This dropped the charge from 100% to 25% on the boost battery! But I'm very impressed that it worked. 5 stars. Press the boost button! And beware that this mode doesn't last for long. But can be reinitialised.

Ive had this for a couple of months and today I got to use it, twice in the space of an hour! first off to start my 3.6 litre 911 and then onto my 2 litre diesel transporter. worked perfect for both. still showing 75% charge left. I was looking at a more expensive one but happy I chose this one!

Bought this as my battery was going flat with a fault and I could not get into a garage for a few weeks, this has been a life saver, starts the car ford focus first time, very easy to use and great to have a flash light built in. I would definitely recommend this product to friends.

This product does exactly what it says it should do start my Volkswagen Passat diesel as if it had a brand new battery the battery is old and I haven't got round to replacing it yet and it takes a good few seconds of turning over to start the car with this starts as if it was new. If you need something to jump a completely dead battery then this product probably isnt for you .read the description properly about how much power you need it to deliver there's a lot of other reviews saying that it doesn't deliver the power that says it does it does just read the description properly that higher power output is only available for a couple of seconds it's a great battery jump pack for a week to low battery it also can charge your phone and has a handy torch also

I bought the AstroAI S8 Pro Booster Pack mainly for peace of mind, and it really came through when I needed it. I’ve used it twice so far once on a car with a completely dead battery, and it started instantly with no issues. That used about half the battery charge. The second time, I used it on a larger truck, and again, it started right up without a problem. That time, it used just over half the charge. Works as advertised. I've jumpstarted my small car twice, and my uncle's medium size truck. Functions as a flash light and can charge your devices, but slowly, but it's not designed to charge your devices repaidly. More for emergencies.
