Accurate, Fast, and a Great value!
This rangefinder has been easy to use and locks onto the flag quickly. The display is clear, and the distances have been accurate compared with my golf app and other rangefinders. Itโs compact, lightweight, and does everything I need without paying for a big-name brand. Very happy with it so far.

Great Value Rangefinder โ Highly Recommended
Iโm very satisfied with this rangefinder. It offers accurate distance measurements, is easy to use, and performs reliably on the golf course. The display is clear, and it provides all the essential features needed for regular rounds of golf. For the price, the performance is more than sufficient. It may not have every premium feature found in much more expensive models, but it delivers excellent value and does the job very well. I would definitely recommend it to golfers looking for a reliable and reasonably priced rangefinder.

Excellent Product!
Really impressed with the Acer rangefinder. Itโs quick, accurate, and very easy to use on the golf course. The readings lock onto the target fast, and the display is clear and easy to see. It feels well-built without being bulky, and the size makes it easy to carry in my golf bag. For the price, I think itโs an excellent value and definitely does everything I need from a rangefinder. Highly recommend it!

A ton of bang for the buck
This thing is so easy to use, is very well built, and has a ton of features. If youโre a golfer, the trajectory compensation is great. It gives you yardage adjusted for uphill and downhill shots. Also has features for measuring speed and simple straight line distance. The magnetic strip is also really nice and easy to store on the cart. You can spend $300+ if you want, but this thing has all the features I need for a quarter of the price.

Accurate , lightweight, compact
Update: tried this on golf course, aiming at pins, and the distance measured very consistently with my Garmin GPS. Sometimes it would read the wrong target, but in reality, it's easy to understand that happened, and you just take another shot, maybe aiming at the flag or pole again. I think this is a good tool, works well even at this low price, and will improve your club selection. -------------------------------------- Seems to work surprisingly well. What is seems to do is get the reflection of the closest target it saw in the crosshairs. Your shaky hand will inevitably move the cross hair all around the pole and flag, but as long as you ain't bounce the crosshair on the ground the nearest target is the pole or flag. It does work, I measured a traffic sign pole 225 yards away. In terms of accuracy, is decent. Agrees to within 1 yard of my Vectronix military range finder, at least up to 250 yards. Didn't check further. Where this cheaper unit might fail is the laser dispersion. Meaning that if the flag is barely visible due to a hill in between, the laser beam will be too wide to avoid bouncing back from the nearest hill top. In this case maybe aim the cross hair on the flag or just above the flag, until the reasonable distance value shows. Btw this unit also measures target speed, presumably must be something coming straight at you to be useful. Like a baseball. In this case it measures the fastest speed detected in the laser beam field of view.

A solid budget rangefinder for NRL22 and general range use
I picked this up primarily for NRL22 matches, where most targets are between about 30 and 100 yards. For that purpose, it's been a good addition to my range bag. So far, it's done everything I've needed it to do. What I like: * compact and easy to carry * quick enough for match use * good value for the money * appears reasonably accurate * nice to have a dedicated rangefinder instead of borrowing one Like most budget rangefinders, it can take a little patience when trying to range very small targets. If you're aiming at tiny steel plates or partially obscured targets, it may take a couple of attempts to get a reading. That's not unexpected at this price point, and for my uses it hasn't been a significant issue. Accuracy also seems quite good. I've compared its readings against known distances at my local range, and it's been consistently very close. That's certainly not a scientific test, but it gives me confidence that it's performing as expected. One thing I appreciate is simply having my own rangefinder. Even if it were off by a yard or two, at least it's consistently *my* measurement. I'd rather build confidence around one piece of equipment than constantly borrow someone else's and wonder if I'm introducing another variable into my data. I chose this model over the absolute cheapest options because Acer is at least a brand I recognize, and that gave me a little more confidence in the purchase. I'm sure there are better rangefinders available, and I'd love to own a nice set of rangefinding binoculars someday, but that's a much larger investment. For someone getting into NRL22, rimfire shooting, or simply wanting an affordable rangefinder for general range use, this has been a worthwhile purchase. It isn't a premium optic, but it performs well enough that I haven't felt limited by it, and that's exactly what I was hoping for.

Revised review; 5 stars down to 4
REVISION TO PRIOR REVIEW: At first this rangefinder worked fine and locked on to the pin and gave me an accurate yardage. But after about 10 rounds it's started to glitch out. Today I played a round with it and actually stopped using it after a few holes. It just wouldn't lock on to the pin and when it did I got five different yardages on five different attempts. Maybe the battery is getting low and that's the reason? I'll put in a fresh battery and see if it recovers its previous form. If it does, five stars because of the price. If it stays glitchy, I'll ding another star. Prior review below: All I want is a reliable rangefinder that locks on to the pin consistently and is capable of finding other targets (for layups, penalty clearances etc.). I really don't find myself needing all the other bells and whistles. This piece does the job and at under $100 is totally worth it. I played a round yesterday with it and it worked every time.

Great, reasonably priced rangefinder
Works well and easy to use, right out of the box. Has more features than anticipated and yet intuitive. Feels sturdy yet lightweight. Love the "lock on target" feature.

Fair review from a golfer
Looks good, lightweight, and picks up big objects like trees, people, hills and bunkers - however it DOES NOT pick up the flag, so basically useless for golf.

Instantly usable out of the box, this rangefinder performs exactly as expected for golfing. Outdoors, the display is perfectly readable and the flag-lock vibration feature works reliably. Nonetheless, itโs the distance readings that impress most by staying completely consistent. Liking the battery life so far, I also find the magnetic mount a convenient feature for a golf cart. Yielding great results for its intended purpose, it represents reasonable value. Delivering solid performance overall, it is easy to operate with minimal setup required. Indeed, the optics are sharp. Distance tracking is quite accurate. It functions well on the course. Totally adequate for everyday use. For the casual golfer, it does the trick. Overall, itโs a fine purchase. Really, it just works. The unit is lightweight. Handling it is a breeze. Every feature operates smoothly. Measurements come up quickly. On target every time. Nothing feels cheap about the build. Everything is well-designed. Your yardage is always clear. Buying this was a practical choice. All in all, it performs fine. Considering the features, it's good. Keeping it in my bag for now.

Acer Golf Ra.nge Finder with Slope
Well built laser range finder with multiple functions. Will lock on to the flagpole or any other object it is sited on. Has slope to give accurate measurement for pins above or below you in elevation. I really appreciate that it is usb equipped and that the internal battery has a huge storage capacity. I would recommend this unit to any avid golfer who is looking for a very reasonable priced range finder.
