I’m really happy with this straightener. The wide plates make styling quicker and easier, especially when working with more hair. It heats up quickly and leaves my hair looking smooth, straight and shiny. It’s easy to use and gives great results without having to go over each section too many times. Definitely a good purchase.

I am so glad I ordered these. I spent ages comparing different brands and wondering if any would actually be very good but without being too expensive. These straighteners work wonderfully! Unlike my old pair, these make my hair soft and shiny as well as very straight.

This Remington Shine Therapy straightener is brilliant and I use it all the time. It heats up really fast and glides through my hair smoothly without pulling or snagging at all. It leaves my hair looking sleek and shiny rather than dry or frizzy thanks to the conditioning plates. It heats up to just the right temperature and holds it steady so I get a nice even finish every time. It is light and easy to hold and the long cord makes it simple to use wherever I am. It is such good quality for the price and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants smooth healthy looking hair.

This is my first entry into hair straighteners. I have long straight hair but recent encroaching grey hair has made my hair wavy & difficult to blow dry. Works well & heats up quickly. It has lost one star because, like many things, it's designed for right-handers. I've had to use it upsidedown (the black side upwards) to avoid accidentally pressing the heat buttons. A solid product & great value, especially for someone new to straighteners. It would be great if it came with a heat pad to rest it on during use but I've used a small oven pad.

Absolutely amazing! I have thick stubborn curly hair that never looked sleek straight no matter what products I used, this straightener completely changed that! It cut the time to straighten in half and it’s absolutely amazing. It made my hair sleek and shiny and left it feeling soft and healthy instead of brittle. It’s great for people with curly or wavy hair who struggle to get it to cooperate and it’s not too big or heavy making it perfect for every day use. Could not be happier with this product!

Excellent straighteners for the price – smooth results I bought the Remington Shine Therapy Straightener (S8500) after using higher-end brands in the past, and I was curious to see how they would compare. Overall, I’ve been really impressed, especially considering the price point. They heat up quickly and the digital display makes it easy to choose the right temperature. I like having the range of heat settings, as it means I can adjust depending on my hair type or whether I want a quick straighten or a more polished finish. The plates glide through the hair smoothly without snagging, and I’ve noticed they leave my hair looking sleek and shiny. The argan oil-infused ceramic coating does seem to make a difference in reducing that dry, static feel you sometimes get with cheaper straighteners. They’re also lightweight and comfortable to hold, which makes styling quicker and less tiring. The floating plates help them adapt well to sections of hair, giving an even result without needing to go over the same section repeatedly. I don’t think I’ve ever really left a review on anything. But these 100% deserve credit. Amazing set of straighteners. I’ve always been a GHD girl, but mine got the red ring, I needed a quick set to just be delivered. These were on next day delivery with amazing reviews. I was sceptical as I have extremely thick long hair, that kinks within about 10 mins, I ordered the bigger size plates. Turned up the next day in time for me to go out. And I can honestly say WOW these are amazing, my hair feels super smooth, looks so shiny and best of all stayed dead straight all night. I even went to bed and woke up and it was still looking good, could’ve definitely have left my house and gone out without doing anything with it. These are the best straightening irons I’ve used on my hair. Would recommend to anyone!

The BEST straighteners. I’ve had GHD chronos and GHD originals, and I still went back to these 😂 the small plate ones just as good, but I prefer the wide plate as less passes through my hair. They are insanely cheap and incredible value for money. They’re not heavy or bulky, easy to hold, the chord swivels so it doesn’t get all twisted up. They leave my hair shiny and smooth, they heat up quick, easy to work around, safety thermal it out, straightening made easy, genuinely the best straighteners I’ve ver owned. I had the small plate ones for about 2 years and someone managed to influence me into buying the GHD chronos so I spent £200+ on them and I kid you not they work NO better than these Remington ones. I sold them after about 6 months as I just couldn’t justify having them sat there while I use these £23 pair of straighteners instead 😂 credit where credit’s due, these are phenomenal and the price point just tops it all. Can curl with them with ease too, makes a nice natural wave/curl. If you’re on the fence about trying them take this as your sign!

Excellent. Bought this to replace my GHD, which gave up after 15yrs of hard labour (RIP). Superb value for money. Adjustable temperature is an improvement on the GHD.

J'avais dû mal à croire aux 2 passages uniques pour lisser. Et bien c'est véridique. Tout ça à 190º. Sans brushing, au sèche-cheveux, c'est Jackson 5 direct donc il me fallait un lisseur qui fasse le taff surtout sur cheveux frisés et sans les rendre encore plus secs. Et bien il lisse au point d'avoir des baguettes si je fais 2 passages ou si j'augmente la température. Souhaitant avoir une belle longueur mais ne les voyant pas pousser, boucles oblige, je voulais les lisser pour ne pas perdre espoir et recouper pour un carré mais surtout ne pas y passer 1h à chaque lissage. C'est chose faite avec ce lisseur. Gain de temps incroyable. D'autre part, j'ai les cheveux blancs naturels qui jaunissent à cause de la chaleur. Mon ancien lisseur du moyen-âge ne chauffait plus assez donc je devais faire 1000 passages sans effet lissé souhaité et le cheveu redevenait jaune clair alors qu'il venait d'être soigné justement pour enlever ces vilains reflets. Ce que j'ai toujours trouvé moche avec le lisseur, ce sont les pointes ultra raides et sèches qui trahissaient un cheveu bouclé. Et bien ce n'est pas le cas avec ce lisseur et surtouuuut, il vient à bout des bouclettes de baby cheveux autour du visage, impossibles à lisser car courts et rebelles. Pas besoin de claquer 3 smics pour un lisseur. Des soins, c'est la base!
