You can trust my turtle!!!
These Flukers freeze dried river shrimp are great. I was using the Tetra brand shrimp treats for my baby alligator snapping turtle, but as he has been growing quickly, those tiny Tetra brand shrimp just wasnโt cutting it anymore. I have been buying up all the different versions of these Flukers dried insects and they have all been a great choice. These Flukers dried river shrimp is no different. My turtle loves these, plus the shrimp in this container is about an inch in length. Way bigger than those 1/4 inch shrimp Tetra version. I have been busting these river shrimp in half and tossing a few of them in the tank along with a couple other foods. I try to keep him with a variety of foods so his dietary needs and vitamin intake are well balanced. Iโm just gonna be honest here. All the varieties of Flukers dried insects that they sell are all amazing. Dried crickets, soldier worms, mealworms, river shrimp, etc. They are now permanently on my restock list. And not sure if you have been paying attention to most of the prices for foods from other brands, but it is getting very expensive. While Flukers here still has an affordable price, on top of the fact that the bottles are almost twice as large as other leading brand names. If you are like me and take your pets care and health seriously, but struggle with the prices on most of the supplies needed, then you should atleast try this Flukers brand out. They have been a trusted name for years. Nothing has changed. You can still trust them. Hope this review helps some of you out trying to decide on this. This is no BS hype. I fully recommend trying out one of their pet foods. Itโs always nice to see my turtle eating real insects and not just a pellet that claims itโs just as healthy. Will leave a photo for bottle size reference.

My critters love these
My isopods, BDFBs and other desert beetles all live these, and some of my cats try to steal them. Good stuff.

This is the one to get
Very pleased with this. This is almost all whole shrimp unlike other brands I've purchased that are about 25% "shrimp dust". My turtle has been narfing them up like candy!

Happy Turtle
My turtle loves these. I do find some fish and snails mixed in and some containers the bottom is just shrimp dust and pieces. The shrimp do vary a little bit in size, some I break in half so my turtle doesn't choke. Very little odor. I feed a couple shrimp a day along with a pelleted diet and this container usually lasts me a couple months with one turtle.

Very fresh
My turtle loves these. They are so fresh that they crunch when he eats them. They are extremely healthy for my turtle. I have bought other brands that are vey tough and my turtle will swim away from them but he crunches every one of these. The price is very good.

Turtle loves these guys.
Turtle loves these little guys. He got so excited one day he almost took my finger off. Typically cheaper in store, however my closest store is 45 min away so it was much more consented to have it delivered through Amazon for the extra 2 bucks.

My turtle loves these shrimp.
I had run out of these shrimp so my turtle went a couple of days without having them. I fed him some lettuce and apple pieces until they arrived but he wouldn't eat. When the shrimp arrived and I fed them to my turtle he went nuts eating.
