Amazing (potentially too good) Source of Fiber
Let's face it, if you are here you know what fiber is and why you need it. You also probably know how difficult it is to actually get the recommended amount you need per day: 25g for women and 38g for men (under 50, it goes down slightly after that). A lot of the dedicated fiber foods I have seen and tried have 4g or 5g per serving. Fiber supplements like capsules and gummies have 3-4g and are loaded with more sugar than fiber. It's just hard to really find something fiber rich that you can eat everyday. Enter FiberOne. The amount of fiber you get per serving (and ultimately per dollar) is unmatched. A serving of this is 18g of fiber. Now, one thing I want to point out is that a serving size is 40g of cereal -- that is not a lot. Measure this out with a scale. It's a small handful. I want to point this out because if you take an "average" sized cereal bowl and fill it up, you are putting 3-4 servings of this in there. While fiber is great, like anything else, it can be too much of a good thing especially all at once. If your diet has been lacking in fiber (which is probably pretty common for people looking into this product) and you suddenly start dumping 50-60 grams of fiber into your digestive system daily, you will probably experience issues. You are not ready for it and your gut bacteria are not ready for it. Treat this more as a medicine than a food and slowly work your way up. I started eating a 40g bowl (the recommended serving) per day and did fine. I now eat a 60g (1.5 serving) bowl every morning. As a man, this is 27 grams of fiber and I can fill in the ~11 remainder with my usual American low fiber diet. It's been working well and I definitely feel like my digestion has been better since doing this. The cereal itself is definitely strange, it comes in pellets that remind me of rabbit or horse food. The flavor is very, very subtle but the closest I can compare it to is graham cracker, just dialed way down. Overall, I have come to enjoy it because I find most sugar-packed cereal way too sweet. Anyway, really pleased with this product. It's fairly cost effective for what you get and it solved my fiber problem. I actually subscribed to it, which is the first time I have done that with a product. I'll keep buying it as long as the formula, price and box size all stay relatively the same,

Excellent for health
I've been eating a giant fiber-bomb bowl of cereal every morning for YEARS, and Fiber One is just *one* out of 3 other cereals I mix. (Grape Nuts and plain shredded wheat are the other 2 I combine). Result -- my triglycerides are 44. My doc says the high fiber is excellent for heart health. My fiber-bomb bowl has probably over 50g of fiber. Of course the added bonus is regular, satisfying poops. 💩😊 And I never worry about excessive carbs because the "milk" I use is protein powder-based, so I've got protein + fiber, which drastically reduces the carb load. NOTE ... Fiber One by itself is very bland, that's why I mix it with the Grape Nuts in particular because it's sweeter. (But I only use 1/4 c Grape Nuts because the carb load is much higher). You can eat a very large volume of Fiber One by itself and the carb load is still very low. So it's probably one of the best diabetic-friendly foods you can eat without guilt.

The OG Fiber Cereal that WORKS!
This cereal will fill you up bc of the high fiber content as well as protein. Unlike other bran cereals this has a delightful light sweetness without high sugar content AND within an hour 💩. Also to prevent going stale , it comes in 2 individual packages! This is the ONLY cereal will ever eat.

Recommended by My Doctor and Works Well
My doctor recommended this fiber supplement, and I’ve been very happy with it. The fiber really helps with regularity and digestive health, and it has become an easy part of my daily routine. The product also feels like good quality and mixes/works well. Overall, a great fiber supplement and one I would recommend.

A great, high fiber cereal I can add to my nonfat, high protein Greek yogurt.
I have diligently logged my food intake for several years, now. I paid attention mostly to portion control and calories. I lost 25lbs. eight years ago. Unfortunately, menopause, stress, and being 60+ years old has allowed my belly to expand 5”. Apparently, tracking grams and calories isn’t enough anymore, so I recently joined the macronutrients bandwagon. It’s very daunting work to figure out my exact amounts of protein, fiber, and carbs I eat every day. I’ve since downloaded an app that still requires some upfront logging and hope it will get easier. Because of my age, I learned from a book recommended by AARP titled The Whole-Body Reset, that I need to eat a lot more protein in a day than I used to, and enough fiber is important, too. That’s why I ordered this box of Fiber One Cereal, Original Bran, High Fiber 19.6 oz. I asked the Amazon AI if any prior reviewers put some on their yogurt, and I got a resounding “Yes,” and that people enjoy the crunch it provides. I appreciate the box has 2 packages inside, so I don’t have to open one big bag of cereal that could get stale by the time I eat all of it. One serving is 40g., so I weighed that on my kitchen scale as I poured it into my bowl of yogurt. I stirred it around a bit, as you can see from my photos. I’d already maxed out my calories for that day and would have enjoyed adding some blueberries. I believe this serving is plentiful for 90 calories and 18g. of fiber. There’s also 3g. of protein, too. I enjoyed it tremendously. I found the crunchiness satisfying and very filling to eat with my Greek yogurt.
