Slightly sceptical on the purchase before buying but seeing the price I felt this is over press but the performance is very very very excellent to the and it is near perfect cannot expect a better product than this really really worth. Very good steam output no no water dripping spillage . Cable could have been slightly bigger it is lightweight and can be used for all. Handles very shrink cotton material so good.

I recently bought this 2400W steam iron and it has quickly become one of my favorite household appliances. I have had always used a Dry iron, hence was a bit sceptical before switching to a Steam iron. However, after just a few days of usage, the only regret i am left with is that why didn't I buy it before ! Pros: 1. Super Fast Heating (5-7 seconds for Max Heating) 2. Steam ironing (especially with Steam Boost) makes ironing Linens and Pure cotton fabrics very fast, easy and efficient. 3. As promised by the brand, there is not an iota of water dripping or leakage. 4. A large water tank of (250-300 ml) makes steam ironing large batches at once, quite easier, without need of constant refilling. 4. Good compatibility for Dry ironing as well. The ceramic soleplate glides effortlessly without the fear of overheating or garments getting stuck to soleplate. The thermostat has good temperature mapping and control for different fabrics. Cons: 1. The user manual cum warranty card : You need to really dig yourceyes in to the small pictures to check each and every function. A simple QR/ link to YouTube video for First use/ setup tutorial would have been better. Others: 1. Comes with 2 yr brand warranty. And being a product of Philips branding, I know it can be relied upon. 2. I liked the color (white + sea green) of the product. However would have loved it if even more color options were available for the product. 3. Cleaning of the steam iron's water tank is easy with the Calc-clean function provided with the iron. 4. Just in love with the sound of Steam Boost. I also used it for my blazers (vertical ironing), and presence of a dedicated push button helps.

This iron is very good heat under one minute and steam regularly at intervals for perfect ironing. Water tank is also large. You can use boost steam which is also work perfectly. Best one is you can sprinkle water on cloth direct from iron. Ceramic coating quality is also good.

16 amps plug point is required & not an ordinary receptable and more weight , difficult to handle. Price is higher Philips online. We feel disappointed and Amazon should have vetted the price fairness before allowing to post for sale.
