Superb, incredibly useful robot mower! Wish I'd bought one years ago! Highly recommended! We have a fairly large back garden, and now due to osteoarthritis I was finding it increasingly difficult to keep it mowed. Enter "Billy" the Ecovac Goat, gets the job done, quietly, neatly, 98.8% thoroughly (just a few areas he can't reach that need strimming), and most importantly to me 'PAINLESSLY! Result! I bought the 800 rtk, because I thought my 189m² lawn would need a bigger battery, turns out the 600 rtk would have done the job just as well and cost less. Never mind, "Billy" is a godsend and I'm now a robot mower Evangelist ! :) If you're thinking of getting a robot mower then definitely give these rtk ecovacs "a good coat of looking at" they are brilliant :) and in my view we'll worth the money.

This robot is ok until it goes wrong. They do not have their own repair people here in the UK. I had a Goat 0800 RTK and apart from it getting stuck about once an hour and needing me to rescue it. I thought it was an OK gadget. Then, when it was only just 8 weeks old ,it went wrong and it stopped working with the message 'error 627 bumper triggered' and it would not move at all. So I called the customer support line which was not very helpful. They had me trying this and that but to no avail so they said I had to pack it up and they would send me a label to put on the box and they would arrange for DHL to collect it. Then after a week I received an email saying sorry the repair company has gone into receivership. and I would have to get in touch with DHL and ask them to get my parcel back and they would be sending me another label with an address of another repair company. That was the end I asked the Ecovacs customer service department to either give me my money back or give me a new robot. The repair company, now in receivership, is all locked up and the receivers can't be bothered to find somebodies parcel and arrange to send it back to them, why should they? Ecovacs said they would send a replacement robot but they haven't and they can't tell me when they will. The Moral of the story is as ever do not buy from China. By the way I bought it from Amazon but They can't help me because I sent it back to Ecovacs when it went wrong and not to them. So always work with the UK company. I paid £741.00 for 8 weeks lawn mowing!

Been using it for three months. Great purchase for my "complicated" lawn. It was relatively easy to set up, and I had it cutting in no time. So far, it has only got confused a couple of times. One occasion was during a sudden torrential downpour, and the other I'm not entirely sure what caused it. In both cases, I received a notification on my phone and was able to resolve the issue quickly. One thing worth noting is that I have around 400 sqm of lawn, while the 0800 model is rated for up to 800 sqm. Because of that, I expected it to complete the entire lawn in a single session. However, it still needs to return and recharge before finishing. This isn't really a problem, as it always completes the job, but it was a little different from what I had anticipated. I love the diagonal cutting Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase and how well it handles my lawn.

It handles my 770 m² lawn well, especially when split into zones — which also makes mowing more practical when rain is forecast. ⸻ Setup & Mapping Avoiding boundary wire installation was the main reason I upgraded, and this mower has lived up to that promise. • Tip: Start with a temporary layout for the charging station and satellite receiver. Move them until you get the best signal coverage, then finalise. • Mapping the lawn through the app is straightforward and well guided. It took me two tries to get a perfect outline, but once set, the mower follows it reliably. ⸻ Performance in the Garden My lawn is around 770 m², close to the rated maximum. In full automatic mode, a complete mow takes about 11 hours and three partial charges (15% → 80%). Splitting the lawn into smaller zones noticeably improves efficiency between charges. It’s also ideal when rain is forecast, letting you complete the garden in manageable sections rather than risking an unfinished full mow. Battery capacity is strong: a 200 m² zone per charge is achievable. The cut pattern is consistent, the finish tidy, and the mower reliably returns to base for charging. • App control: Works perfectly, even at the far end of the garden — no connection issues. • Edge cutting trick: Run the boundary close to a firm edge (like paving stones) for a tighter, cleaner cut along borders. ⸻ Build & Design The mower feels robust, the docking station is weather-ready, and the overall design shows thoughtful engineering. I was sceptical that a robot could manage my quote complex garden but the ecovac has convince me. Setting the perimeter was remarkably easy and I was able to creat two zones. The key point is that is navigates around obstacles within the perimeter with intelligence and means I don't have to tell it to avoid furniture, trees etc. I am surprised how fast the battery drains however and charging is slow. I note aftermarket larger capacity batteries @5500 are available. App also good and pretty easy to use. Overall I think the product is good for the price and I am satisfied.

Build quality seemed good. Straight forward set-up... Sadly it veered of course several times and buried itself in a hedge, a flower bed and almost in the pond (all outside the mapped cutting area), even carried on mowing in the rain despite having an active rain sensor. It left lots of uncut areas in it's first pass too. I think the hardware is sadly let down by software glitches. Having returned the Goat 800 I bought a YUKA Mini 2 800 - much, much better. Just works as it should.

Worked first time, mapped and setup a doddle. Highly recommend. Saving me so much pain as a disabled 74 year old. A life saver, truly.

OK, so you spend hours reading reviews, watching you tube videos, and reading online resources as to spend your earned money wisely. I egaly awaited delivery, unboxed, and reading the instructions beginning to end before setting the mower up. This went smoothly. Unfortunately this is where it ends. In short this robot is NOT clever in anyway shape or form. Within 30 mins it had banged into brick walls, fallen over a very small ledge, and was scratched and beaten on first use. It constantly seemed confused despite high signal strengths in all areas. I tried to split zones from front garden to back via a wide passage but it could not find its way, it really is a short distance and not challenging in any way. I was able to manually drive the robot there no problem. Honestly this is no more technical than my last robot mower costing £300. It may have fancy buttons in the app and claim to do things but let's be honest all it needs to do is mow and that it can't do whilst ramming into things. If I was you look elsewhere. I had to return.

This delivery was made by Amazon UK - hence it took some weeks to arrive to Germany. This robot is amazing and saved my life. It learns automatically, adjustable zones just perfect. The one star less results become the charging cable was not included. However amazing Germany provided a voucher to purchase one
