Good quality accurate description using for decorative purposes

This cutting board is the perfect gift for out-of-town guests. It is easy to pack or mail as a hostess gift. I carried this one overseas to friends who we stayed with, and they appreciated the detail of the map and its practicality as a cutting board. While the shape is a bit boring, as it is a square, you can't blame the manufacturer because of Colorado's borders.

Durable and cute

Got this as a gift. Size is really good considering it will be just decoration (small to use it a cutting board) I like the color.

Bought this to replace plastic cutting board. Overall its nice. Not quite nice enough to display, though. The laser engraved side is not good for cutting food. As a decorative item, its ok. Its a good gift but the laser burns are fairly inconsistent in depth. Partly this is because some of the wood is softer than other areas, partly its because the laser was in a few spots too long causing deeper burns. Its ok visually. I guess I get it that they want the shapes to be interesting, so making a (mostly) rectangular state into a trapezoid to make it look like a perspective shot is a valid choice. But its weird that they made it so non-rectangular. The state itself was defined as a geospherical rectangle, and there are slight surveying errors on top of that, so it perplexes me that the cutting board would be so much smaller across the top. Anyway.. If you want to use it for making food, you have to use the back. The front just has too many holes amd grooves to trap food. Also washing gently with mild soap unfortunately takes off some of the finishing oil leaving the board more pale colored and less water-resistant. Overall, good gift. Some annoying inaccuracies. Decent bamboo board.

A really great surprise for my Colorado wife. It is really well done and the mapping is easy to read.
