Wakacon Kava Lawena

I'm new to kava but I did do a fair amount of research before purchasing. I ordered this one along with 2 others. I have terrible anxiety disorder, insomnia and fibromyalgia. I've been on every prescription drug out there and thel either turn me into a zombie or have no impact at all. I've probably tried every so called herbal remedy out there as well. I was reluctant to try kava because of things I had read about liver damage possibly being caused by it. Recently I read that certain countries that had made it a controlled substance had reversed that classification after further research debunked many of the supposed health risks. I decided to go ahead and give it a try. This stuff far exceeds any expectations I had. I gotta say of the 3 kinds I have tried, this one doesn't taste quite as awful, but they all admittedly taste putrid. It instantly numbed my mouth then after about 10 minutes a calmness just washed over me. My muscles relaxed. I was in a happy peaceful mood with no brain fog. I was not anxious. I had no nerve pain. It did upset my stomach a bit but it passed. I slept like a baby and didn't wake up one time all night. I'm a believer now and I will most definitely order this particular kava again. I only wish I'd tried it sooner.

- Excellent product! - Mildly Potent! - TASTE: like home grown garden carrots root - HOW TO USE THE PRODUCT: Do NOT simply put Kava Kava powder into glass and drink staight up. All Kava Kava powders require straining aka washing or kneading if using a a shaker. If kneading use a nut milk bag and only your fingertips to wash the powders kavalactones into bowl for consumption. Note, product contains fiberous materials that can get caught in the throat and cause irritation or problems with intestinal digestion. - KNOWN EXTRACTION METHODS: Aluball Shaker, nut milk bag, home made delivery systems = 2 nylon stockings 1 inside the other, or used Tshirt. - POSITIVE EFFECTS: will slightly temporarily numb the inside of your mouth, and possibly your lips. A positive calming effect, good for taking the anxious edge off of daily stress factors, and sometimes slight euphoria if drank quickly in larger quantities (2 tall glasses). If you try this stuff, you really gotta knead and strain it for over 2mins in room temperature water or hotter water (hot tap/faucet or stove top heated water). Provides a noticeable light body buzz similar to alcohol drunkeness if 1 tall glass is drank quickly without the head spinning drunkeness of alcohol. - NEGATIVE SIDE EFFECTS: known to cause kidney damage if drank over an extended period of time and in large quantities. - Widely used product. Many online tutorials recommend this product and so do I as a first time user. - Long lasting product. 1 LB will surely last you 1month or more, or a family of 3 approx 1/2 month at 1 strained glass per person per day. - RECOMMENDED RECIPES: 2/3 Milk + 1 Tbsp sugar + 1/3 kava infused water, 2 Tbsp Chocolate syrup + 2/3 Milk + 1/3 kava infused water, 2/3 Coconut milk + 1/3 kava infused water, 1/3 Coconut water + 1/3 milk + 1/3 kava infused water are recommended recipes to try so to mask the raw rooty taste.

This product seems to be a good quality for someone who enjoys kava, its a pure, finely ground noble Kava and comes in a vacuum sealed bag labeled as a product of Fiji. However even though I made a 6 tablespoon drink prepared properly with the filter bag, I'm not a Kava fan after this experience. Its effects were milder than I expected and I found it sedating in a somewhat unpleasurable way. I definitely noticed that it made me more talkative and curbed anxiety, but it briefly numbed my enthusiasm and dampened my excitement for things that I normally enjoy. I felt okay and calm, but I don't think i'll have another glass. It isn't as good as I expected. With that being said I reccomend it to someone who struggles with any type of treatment resistant or severe anxiety disorder because I could definitely see it benefiting someone who suffers from anxiety. Just be aware that it's the finely powdered root of a plant and it takes A LOT of it to make a glass of Kava.. it doesn't taste like chocolate.
