So, I've had these earbuds since they came out, and I have to say that I loved them! I had the Openfit Air, and they were good, but these are an upgrade on a different level. The comfort is amazing. I can wear them, and they mostly blend into my ear. Only now and again did I feel them, but that's due to my small ears, I think. Having buttons to control them is much better than touch, as I don't worry about accidental touching. Good if you fidget around with glasses, which, by the way, they handled well. Glasses or sunglasses, all good here. I only need to charge them every now and again as the battery just lasts for ages. I charge maybe monthly, and they do hold their charge even if you haven't touched them for a week or so. Having the extra Dolby audio is a nice touch; it does make a difference. Now, the sound from these, compared to the Openfit Air, is again levels above. These earbuds are loud, and I mean seriously loud. I only need lower levels for volume as I turn it up too loud, which would blow my ears off. But one downside to these is that they can't handle very loud environments. That would be like the tube and noisy streets, such as when a road sweeper goes by or sirens blare. The sound from them will overpower the earbuds. However, aside from that one downside, these earbuds are the best and what I've wanted for ages. With my small ears and my past with irritations and infections, I finally have a pair of earbuds that I can carry around for most situations. I hope Shokz improves things further, as these 2+ are almost perfect. Dog walking, working out at home, in the office, and shopping in the center—a lovely pair of earbuds that don't block my ears. Worth a try at least, especially if you've seen the Air and Pro versions but want something in the middle!

The SHOKZ OpenFit 2+ headphones have exceeded my expectations. I've had the Shokz Openrun 2 for a while which combine bone conduction and small speakers to provide reasonable sound. They do allow some outside noise in which is ideal (and safe) for running outside, but they didn't work in a noisy environment like a gym. So I wanted something for that gym, for general use at home and maybe with better sound quality. I also have narrow ear canals and earbuds with a tight fit tend to push earwax into my ear leading to partial, albeit reversible, deafness. Full headphones are just too heavy and obtrusive. The OpenFit 2+ seemed like an option as they tick many of my boxes. The sound is noticeably better than the Openruns and louder - I listen to a lot of choral music and the quality is acceptable for use in an external environment if not audiophile that you'd want for quiet listening. They lack very deep bass, but with the Dolby on, the soundstage is pretty impressive. The fit is rock solid and the design means that they are usable on public transport without annoying your neighbour. Battery life is huge as they recharge when you replace them in the case, which I've still not had to re-charge after several weeks. Connection is as easy as just taking them out of the case or replacing them (an annoyance of my other Shokz is that you have to remember to turn them off after use). They partially meet my gym test is that they will overcome the normal (reasonably loud music), but don't stand a chance if I'm near a class where it's been kranked up. They will connect to more than one device simultaneously and I've never had a drop out. They are not cheap, but you get what you pay for and they do look to be made for the long haul.

What a surprise when I turned these on and turned the Dolby setting on in the settings section. The sound that was emitted was such a smooth rounded sound. The reason I say this is because I also own a set of Shokz Openfit Air which are very good but this new set are like Day and Night there is such a difference. There appears to be an increase in listening volume when out in the street which is much better compared to my other set. The battery on these is much better than my Openfit which I appreciate. I fully charged these before starting my Audible books and one month later they are still over three quarters full. I use them every day and the battery is very impressive. I also enjoy the security of these as they sit on my ears and have never had them slip or fall off my ears in all activities that I do. They are also very comfortable when wearing my glasses or sunglasses and sometimes forget they are there. I also own a set of Sony WF-1000XM5 which are brilliant for listening to music and films etc but I have suffered with them falling out when simply chewing or just work loose over time. I have tried multiple changes of ear tips but never found a successful fit to overcome this problem. They are very good if sat and still but frustrating when looking for the Buds when it drops out. I wish these had been out when I first starting to use Earbuds as I can honestly say these have been far superior to anything I have used before. When I have received a phone call the callers have been surprised when asked if the call quality was good and everyone has thought I was sat in a quiet room. This must be down to the noise cancellation setting turned on in the settings. Another quality I have found is the the fact I now don't suffer with ear irritations which I would suffer with if the Buds weren't kept scrupulous clean. I am so impressed with these Openfit Buds and when I have changed the setting for various sound listening from voice to standard and then to Bass the difference was notable. These are beyond doubt the most useable set of earbuds I have used compared to over ear to earbuds tips that I have come across. I can recommend these after one months usage and cant find any issues with these while I have been using them. They are a definite massive jump in sound quality and would not hesitate to buy again.

Bought these in June 2025 Work great for what they are, open sound and comfortable But…they give me contact dermatitis on both ears (top of the ear and behind) Strange as I used the 1st generation for a number of months without issue

I've been a Sony fan for many years. I have never found a real competitor to Sony's quality of sound (from a hearing perspective), waterproofness, general fault free performance. To add to this, I'm allergic to Silicon so real in-ear headphones are a big no no...rash in the ear canal...no thanks. I've used all iterations of the linkbuds and over the last couple of months I've been hunting for an alternative as the fitting on the last iteration has become too loose when running. (I think my ears have gotten bigger...). These, well. Wow. The sound Quality isn't as "crystal clear", but its louder , and surround/ Dolby adds an element that has you turning your head to hear where a sound came from. The clarity is still certainly above other famous brands out there, and there's the equalizer to suit taste. The fact that these don't go into the ear canal, are loud, have decent NC (better than the linkbuds), AND have a secure fitting over the ear.... Highly recommended. These have not been partner tested yet... i.e can she hear the music as I walk past, or can I hear what shes saying whilst wearing them... if you never hear from me again you know they failed that test and I went out listening to WHAM at full blast.

This item looks well-made and is easy to use with the associated app. Talking of which, ensure you activate the Dolby function! I bought these because they have multipoint connectivity, which is helpful. I don't find them to be very comfortable, quite the opposite after extended usage. They are not meant to be noise-cancelling, so I didn't expect them to be. However, I did expect them to sit better and be more comfortable over the ears. The poor fitting means that sound quality and volume are immediately compromised. To make things worse, the sound quality isn't all that either, even with the Dolby on and the earpiece manually pushed further into the ear. It's tinny; it lacks a decent bass response. These might be ok for taking and making calls on the move, but that's presumably not what they were designed for and the price tag makes for what is just a very expensive Bluetooth headset. I have a pair of Apple AirPods as well. These aren't multipoint, which is a pain, and don't work properly with non-Apple kit, but the sound reproduction of the AirPods shows up the sound quality of the Shokz for what it is: mediocre. These are expensive for what they are and compare very poorly with AirPods.

Great product, the sound is spot on, the fit is very comfortable the only issue I've had was they came off when I removed the hood from my coat, other than that they are mint. The charge rate is pretty fast too. Unlike in-ear head phones you don't have the issue of ear wax to clean off either.

These are fantastic! They allow you to hear your surroundings while being submerged in your music, podcast, or phone call. They are incredibly comfortable. I forget I am wearing them all the time. I wear glasses and they work great with my glasses even though they rest over the ear. Battery life is incredible. I wear them all day and have never had to plug them in to charge in the middle of the day. I am in sales and talk a lot on the phone and the party on the other side of the phone has never complained about background noise or static. I also stay active by trail riding mountain bikes, running, working on the property and working out in the gym I also live in a very hot and humid area and they are solidly constructed. When I am in the gym, I leave my phone in a corner of the gym as I am migrating between stations and have never lost connectivity to my phone. I walk to the opposite end of my house before the "beep" happens that lets me know I am no longer connected to my computer. I also love the multiple devices connected feature. I have mine connected to my phone and PC and can take Zoom or Teams calls and then switch to a phone call seamlessly. I like them so much, I purchased a pair for my wife. She rarely wore headphones before these and now she puts them on in the morning and doesn't remove them until late evening. Highly recommend!

Pesano pochissimo, poco più di una piuma. Anche l’archetto di fissaggio all’orecchio è per nulla fastidioso, anche dopo ore di utilizzo. A un certo punto ti dimentichi davvero di indossarli. 📱 Utilizzo Semplicissimi da usare: basta scaricare l’app sullo smartphone ed eseguire il pairing. Finalmente dei tasti fisici, configurabili tramite app, che evitano tocchi involontari durante attività come corsa o fitness. Una vera comodità rispetto ai controlli touch! 🔊 Isolamento Perfetto per me. Non è l’isolamento totale degli in-ear, ma una sorta di impianto Hi-Fi appoggiato al padiglione auricolare che ti lascia consapevole dei rumori esterni. Un esempio? Ieri sera, durante un film ricco di effetti speciali, ho avuto la sensazione che il suono provenisse direttamente dal PC, tanto da dimenticarmi che indossavo gli auricolari. 📞 Chiamate Ottime in ascolto e, a quanto pare, anche per l’interlocutore: nessuno ha segnalato problemi di comprensione. 🎶 Qualità audio Vista la tipologia di auricolari, la qualità è sorprendente: bassi profondi, alti squillanti. Les écouteurs sont d’une excellente qualité. Très légers, ils s’oublient instantanément. Ils sont pensés pour ne pas tomber, on peut donc bouger énergiquement, ils restent bien en place. La matière est très « onctueuse » extrêmement agréable. La qualité du son est très pure. L’autonomie est très bonne. Le bouton physique de commande est très vite pris en main. Les clics peuvent être personnalisés, moi j’ai conservé ceux proposés. Une appli permet d’effectuer les ajustements de son selon nos préférences. Le boîtier est de grandes dimensions comparativement à celui des écouteurs Apple. Mais je le savais en effectuant mon choix et la raison qui m’a conduite vers les shokz open fit 2+ l’a emportée sur cet aspect pratique, car en effet, en plus de profiter d’une qualité de son très limpide, les écouteurs n’obstruent pas le conduit auditif et permettent de rester à l’écoute de l’environnement. Je ne voulais pas m’isoler en les portant, c’est parfait! Le petit bémol est que lorsqu’il y a du bruit autour de soi, on doit forcément augmenter le son pour continuer d’entendre ce qui provient des écouteurs. L’autre bémol, (humoristique celui-là) est que lorsque je chante j’entends maintenant à quel point je chante faux 😅… avec d’autres écouteurs, j’avais l'illusion de maîtriser cet art! 😂 Je ne regrette pas ce choix. Sur les photos, il y a une protection en silicone vert, mais le boîtier de rangement est en plastique noir, la protection n’est pas incluse.
