We purchased this for the rooms on the 2nd floor. It was ordered and received within 10 days. I was concerned about whether or not it would actually cool off the room or rooms I needed it to being that it is the smaller of the units? My next concern was the remote and whether if I lost it would the unit still work? So I can say this cools of the 2 rooms on top floor very well. They are separated by a doorway with no door. I can also say that this unit works just fine without a remote so no concern there. This unit has been very easy to install. It comes with everything you need and you can move it easily through out the house. I do like the fan function as well, and yes it does make noise but I did not find it overwhelming or too loud. The remote does not come with batteries so make sure you have 2 aaa on hand. I did like the overall design of the unit and how you can move the direction of air. You can easily take the filter off and clean it. We didn't even need to tape anything to the windows it fit really nice. If you are looking at several different units and aren't sure on the one to buy, like I was. I would just say that this is a great unit. It really cools down the 2 rooms very well. I too was struggling to decide and I am very satisfied with my purchase, the cost was ok, and how it works is great. I do hope this helps. And good luck.

This is one year later. It's still the coldest AC in the house. Would buy again. I just put it up on a stand and ran the tube out the window along with the exhaust tube so you don't have to collect water and empty it because That's what I did first and I would have to empty the water like twice a day. But now it just runs straight out the window. Works great! Burrrr

It works, but man is it loud. I got this because my upstairs bedroom gets quite hot despite my AC being on, not to mention it gets humid hot in my city. I cannot sleep in the heat. Also my room is pretty small, so as far as making it cold it works really well. If I put it in the hallway it does a decent job of cooling the upstairs area, but that's also with the help of fans. Setting up the window vent was easy but I did have to put cardboard in the space because my window wasn't big enough to use the window block (it's two pieces, and I'm just using one). The problem I have is that the unit is pretty loud, which defeats the purpose of helping me sleep. I could simply get used to the loud white noise but the issue is that the unit will shut off once it reaches the temp you set it to and then turns on once it gets hot. The unit turning on multiple times is the part that wakes me up. Earplugs help but not really. Also it collects a lot of water (thankfully there is a water tube), so you will need a bucket. The other thing is, I don't know how much energy consumption this is using. I'm worried about my energy bill. I may come back with edits once I have a better idea. I'm sure the noise issue is a common complaint with these AC units, which is why I'm still rating this at 4 stars. As far as this purchase, I probably should've just tried using multiple fans before buying this to see if that would be okay.

Right out of the box this AC cooled ok enough. 1 year later, it does not cool at all and is pretty much just a super loud fan. I definitely would not buy this, waste of $200.

This air conditioner was easy to set up and works great! But, what is most impressive is the customer service. After summer, we stored this appliance in its original box in the garage. The next summer (2026), we brought it back out, and discovered we had lost the plastic piece that connects the hose to the machine. We contacted the online number that was on the Amazon site. They said that they no longer have the part in the U.S., but would forward our info to China. To make a long story short, the company shipped our missing part without any cost for the part or shipping!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Update (6/2026): The AC still works, but I will say it's underwhelming as an AC, which is why my ratings went down. The room still ends up being hotter than any other room in the house with an AC. I'm planning on buying a misting fan to hopefully help cool the room down even further. It's not even a big room to cool down, only half the size of a bedroom. If you're not in the AC's fan path, you will not feel cool, which I'm thankful I have it placed near my bed, or else I end up drenched in sweat if I don't sleep with the AC on. I feel like it blows more air than cool air. One small downside I forgot to mention was because of the limited space in here, I had to prop it on a drawer. And it moves around slightly because of the motor turning on and off, so sometimes I have to push it back. Would I buy this again? Noooo. I'd try to look elsewhere. The settings that I used are 75 degress on a low fan. Previous 5 star review (4/2025): I went ahead and bought this as I was deciding on a portable air conditioner or a swamp cooler since those were my only options to cool my very hot room. I took my chance and coughed up more money for this portable air conditioner. The unit was packaged nicely. It came with a slight bend on the outside of the box, but nothing was damaged on the inside. It takes up around 3 feet of space for me since the tube to the outside isn't flexible and I had to position it awkwardly in my limited space. There are buttons you can press on the unit to change the settings but sometimes they work, other times not, so try not to loose your controller. I appreciate that it has a low or high setting for the fans. In terms of noisiness, I would say it's okay. The noise level doesn't bother me when I sleep or do anything in the room. So far, in the week that I've had it, it has cooled very nicely in what was a very hot room. I have not used the dehumidifier option, nor will I plan to as it's very dry in AZ. The only problem that I may encounter would be removing the filter since it's in the back and removing the water that may accumulate(?) I honestly don't know how that works but I will update this review as time goes on. Small edit: I've had no issues with water accumulation. The AC comes with a small plug to drain the water. TLDR: It's not really worth it, it cools half the time. It's okay so far, the noise is acceptable, and try not to loose the controller.

After having this unit working great for 3 months, the compressor suddenly went out. I contacted EUHOMY customer service by email - and after a few questions and proof-of-purchase ... they sent a replacement unit in days free of delivery charge. EUHOMY customer service is excellent. Can't ask for more than that! As for the portable indoor A/C - mine is very quiet and blows almost 50 degree freezing air. The adjustable exhaust fits just about any window easily. This affordable indoor unit seems to offset having the main central AC from operating all day - which is a net positive. And it keeps the home office more comfortable without having to chill down the entire house - for just pennies an hour. I wish I'd known about this product it years ago.

Update: I moved the unit into my bedroom and it is SO LOUD. I didn’t realize how loud it is until I tried to sleep with it going. That’s not the most annoying part though. It only feels cold in the room when the unit is running and pumping out cold air. As soon as it stops, it feels hot again within 5 minutes. Why is this an issue? Because the unit stops running when it reaches the set temperature and doesn’t kick back on even when it’s hot in the room. It does come back on sometimes, but it’ll be an hour or more after it stopped, and by then I’m drenched in sweat. To counteract this issue, you can set the temperature really low, but then you just end up freezing for the first part of the night until the unit turns off after reaching the set temp, then the room heats up pretty fast and you’ll get hot again, then the unit will eventually turn back on and you’ll cool off for a bit before freezing again then it’ll turn off and the cycle repeats itself. My last big complaint is that the lights on the touch panel are bright enough to light up the whole room at night and the volume of the button beeps is loud enough to be heard throughout the house. Definitely not conducive to sleep. Knowing what I know now, I would have purchased a different portable ac unit. I’ve had this unit for about a week. I live in an older 2 story townhome that gets exceptionally hot upstairs in the spring and summer. Instead of keeping the whole house 10 degrees colder than I’d prefer just to keep the upstairs comfortable, I thought this ac unit would help. Once I got it set up, it was great! It is very heavy and difficult to get upstairs. The window adapter is great for windows that open side-to-side but not as much for windows that open up/down. In my video you’ll see that I had to use a large, thick chunk of hard styrofoam to fill in the gap from the window adapter. It comes with a second panel that fits into the first and slides to fit the window size; however, the first panel wasn’t big enough for my window size and, with the second panel in place, it was too large and ended up blocking about half of the vent opening. If you have a saw, you can cut it to the correct size. I did not have a saw and didn’t want to buy one solely for this purpose. The styrofoam chunk worked great for me. I also used a lot of duct tape to completely seal the window and the vent opening. I highly recommend sealing the gaps or else your electric bill will likely be sky high. The unit quickly blows out ice cold air at a relatively quiet level. It cools the room down very fast and I’ve already spent some time just sitting in front of it on hot days. I can’t speak to the remote control because I’m generally right next to the unit and was too lazy to go out and buy batteries so I haven’t tried it. I’ll be sure to update my review if I have any issues.
